    Almost 5 years ago a snow plow took out the street light… We have been requesting on a monthly basis since for PSENG in the city to replace the light. We keep buying the cone that you see there because not only is a dangerous and people trip and fall but the wires we also need a light desperately for safety reasons. At night, it is dark and the amount of people that tripped over this and get hurt we’ve lost count of and the kids often steal the cone and it’s unfair that we have to keep buying the cone out of pocket.     Why does the trash container need to be placed by Jersey City in a bus stop. The driver can't see passengers and vice versa. Please move it little ahead or somewhere else so not cause people to miss busses. Today the driver missed seeing me due to this container. Thanks.

    Subject: Urgent Resolution Needed for 6-Month Disruptions on Lexington Ave (West Side to JFK Blvd)

    For six months, Lexington Avenue (West Side to JFK Blvd) has endured water main breaks, outages, no street sweeping, and now late-night construction noise severely impacting residents’ quality of life.

    I demand:

    1. Confirmation of accountability.
    2. A firm timeline for full completion and service restoration.
    3. Immediate street sweeping.
    JCMU claims equipment blocks sweepers, but this jeopardizes public health and safety.

    The City must act.

    I’ve already filed a complaint with no response. Please resolve this proactively, no further complaints from me.

    Big construction just dumps their barriers in the public street taking up much needed loading zone space without permits to do so. No help for the local business or residents. No handicap parking. But we can park construction equipment anywhere we want.

    Is it possible to add a strong delineator on the bike lane to prevent motorists from driving on it? I was cycling on Pacific when a motorist turned right from Communipaw into the bike lane and drove along the bike lane to double park in front of Puchu's. v

    Columbus Drive near the turnpike overpass (especially westbound) is very dangerous, and cars often take this turn at very high speeds, drifting into adjacent lanes. Columbus is like a drag race strip sometimes. Not only is Ferris High School right there, but there have been several extreme car crashes at the site, including one fatal crash just last year.
    Drivers really need to be slowed down somehow, either with a flashing signal, reduced car lanes, speed bump, or a well-designed intersection with the Academy Street extension on the JC master plan.

    Washington St headed south by Whole Foods needs better pedestrian infrastructure. The are two travel lanes for cars, but drivers use the bus stop and the bike lane to jump the line and make illegal right turns on red. This endangers anyone walking and rolling at the intersection.
