As a courtesy, we would like to inform the community that there will be permitted construction activity starting on Tuesday, July 8th through Thursday, July 10th. Whereas, there will be NO PARKING during this activity on both sides of Newark Ave, between JFK and Liberty St. In addition, the Westbound lane will be closed between the same cross streets as mentioned above. This is to facilitate an alternating lane of traffic through the Eastbound lane, through the construction zone.

The Sidewalk will also be 100% closed along the 780 property construction zone and pedestrians must cross at the JFK Blvd. or Liberty St. crossings during this activity.

This construction zone will be mangaged by the GC and both the Jersey City Police and Traffic Plan Inc. in order to facilitate the safe operation of a Crane, in furtherance of the construction project at this location. For the safety of the community, we ask for compliance will all verbal and posted directions.

Hardcopy of permits are available upon request, to all authorities having jurisdiction.

It is really unfortunate that the Fox & Crow has closed down, it was a great place in the neighborhood. But, since they are no longer an operating bar/restaurant can their outdoor seating structure be removed so the parking spaces can be used once again.

please move the planter all the way over to the green line. cars are fitting thru and turning right in bike lane area.

I have a business on cottage street and every day this construction site at 35 cottage st blocks the road all day not allowing any cars through. Do they have the required permits to block the street daily?

City recently had a contractor add concrete medians to the intersection at Grove and Grand (they are great!) but in so doing also moved the previous concrete containers that were there onto both the sidewalk next to a fire hydrant and the actual bike line. Please move these large yellow concrete traffic control devices ONTO the medians or even better back to the street next to the medians (either way they don't belong on the sidewalk or in the bike lane).

Both the southwest and northwest corners for first and Brunswick have no sidewalk. I need to go down first. Why isn’t there a safe path to walk - especially at night. Btw I think this is city project.

6months ago City street dept came and ripped up the street to repair sinkhole, then for unknown reason they broke up our sidewalk at the curb + even cut the outline in the walk then just used asphalt as temporary patch. This usually would get fixed in the past few days later but still waiting, we are the only one on the block like this! Please fix as this is the city’s doing.

Hello, now that the construction site has fenced and blocked half of 16th street can we please have someone come and put no parking signs on the other side of 16th street in front of Soho Lofts where the curb juts out into the road Cars consistently park here where which has been making this 2 way street a 1 way street This issue has been raised numerous times but with the construction fence it’s becoming more and more of an issue Thank you e

Look what happens when construction workers commandeer the sidewalk and street without permits. Loading zone full of cars. Delivery truck forced to double park in the middle of Newark Ave

The contractor dug the road for new construction. Now there’s a deep pothole that already happened because of this. The contractor should be held responsible.
