Brand new delineators run over by truck No regard for pedestrians or city property

Can we please have the delineator installs completed along Pacific? I noticed that it has finally been added along one block of Pacific (which we very much appreciate), but when will it be finished? It's been nearly two years since the paint for the bike lanes and curb bump-outs was put down, but we're still waiting on delineators.

Delineators are needed:
1) Along the entire stretch of the Pacific bike lane between the bike lane and parking.
2) Within each of the painted curb bump-outs along Pacific and the intersecting streets (see the Communipaw intersection half-done pictured here).

Delineator covers removed from 4 delineators, laying on the ground blocking corners and bike lane. People are also filling them with trash.please remove or place back on delineators. Thanks

What is the point when vehicles can just flatten them. Waste of money by the city. Install either permanent Ballard or flowerpots. Highly traffic area near multiple schools.

First, wanted to say thank you - as a resident of Bergen Hill for more than a decade - for the traffic calming measures on Monticello. I know it’s been years in the works for the infrastructure team and we really appreciate everything the city has done. However, while the delineators installed on Monticello and corner of side streets (Brinkerhoff, Emory, Astor, etc) have helped slow traffic, they are knocked down daily. I know there are permanent solutions coming later this year, and wanted to ask about the rain garden/storm water curb bump outs over on West Side and Fulton and whether those might be a better permanent solution. Can we get a request in for these as a permanent solution as infrastructure plans the work for the fall?

Grand and Marin needs to have delineators installed as cars are driving on bike lane to make right turn from Grand onto marin blvd
cars also parking here making it unsafe for people crossing and bikes. North east corner of Grand and Marin. thanks

I’ve reported this issue several times already, but each time it’s just marked as a “duplicate” and closed without any actual resolution. That’s not fixing the problem — the danger is still there.

At night, especially when it’s raining, you can’t see the lane lines at all. Drivers can’t tell where one lane ends and another begins, which makes it extremely dangerous. There needs to be cones or permanent lane dividers glued to the roadway to clearly separate lanes and guide drivers safely through that stretch.

Please stop marking this complaint as a duplicate and provide an actual update on:

1. What is being done about the issue,

2. The current repair or improvement status, and

3. When the city plans to install proper lane separation or reflective markings.

This is a serious visibility hazard that could easily cause an accident. Please treat it as an urgent matter and fix it properly

There should be some barrier or bollards on the left side of the garage entrance of 120 York Street. When trucks park there, there is no visibility for cars coming out of the garage. It’s only a matter of time before accidents happen.

The first "tuff curb" delineator on the E/b Newark Ave protected bike lane was dislodged at some point. It's parked on the sidewalk, but should be reinstalled, please!

This is South Street & Sherman Ave.
I have been asking for something to be done here such as a safety barrier or whatever to be placed at this intersection since Yun was in office. Something heavy duty to protect the safety of the school children, regular pedestrians and the crossing guard from irresponsible drivers that choose to ignore the "No left turn". Thankfully the new crossing guard puts up cones but most drivers do not respect the sign or the cones. Yes, the police know about this problem. Same as the Councilman. The same thing is happening at the intersection of South Street and Cambridge Ave. It's high time the city take care of this problem. The bs studies, dont work. Spend that study money on some cameras so you see what really happens at these intersections.

Can we get better signs showing that these lanes shift? Cars (especially NYC TLC drivers) don't know that the lanes shift.

People in the left lane frequently travel straight into the right lane and had multiple close calls.
