  • 297 9th St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
Tree has a large hole all the way through, that looks to be rotting, and continues to deteriorate. It has gotten 1 to 2 inches longer over the past year or so. the tree also leans out into street, forcing cars to park further from the curb, as seen in the attached photo. Not sure if this is a risk for collapse, so posting in the hopes that someone can assess. If this were to collapse, as ones in Hamilton Park have done, it would cause significant damage to any car parked there.

  • 40 Wright Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square
New tree installed at 40 Wright Ave is not to code— it is not long enough. A tree has not yet been added to the other side of the building (38 Wright Ave), while addressing this it might be smart to suggest that the next tree planted have its pit done correctly.

Dead or dying trees. These should be replaced. Also there is at least two stumps near Washington street that need to be removed and it’s a tripping hazard. This is at the park where the Paulus hook monument is located.
