Trees PLUS

The three enormous oak trees along the western side of my house (on Varick Street) need to be trimmed back, please. Whenever there's a storm, branches snap off, and there are branches hanging over the top of my roof and continually dropping debris -- branches, acorns, and leaves -- on the roof that requires the gutters to be cleared constantly. We also had a carpenter ant infestation and were advised to make sure the branches don't reach the house to avoid this happening again.

This constituent is requesting the trimming of "potenatially dangerous tree branches from tree in front of 184 Columbia Ave." Caller claims, the branches are pulling on the electric and utilites wires and could cause the electricity to be disconnected by those tree branches.

Resident states that a tree needs to be pruned as it is obstructing the streetlight.

In front of 116 Coles Street there is a tree that is growing in the wires and needs to be trimmed.

Shrubs are overgrown onto the street plus there is now a tree that is down hanging over the sidewalk. Makes it very dangerous for any driver.

There is a tree behind a fence in this driveway that is owned by the City of Jersey City. The tree is huge and was hit by lightning several years ago and is leaning. When the tree is full of foliage it hits the house next door at 233 Baldwin Avenue. The tree is in desperate need of pruning.

This tree is between properties, the top half of it is dead and a huge branch fell during a storm in the summer. Is there a way to cut the dead portions so there isn’t property damage?

According to this resident, "there are 2 trees on Clendenny Ave. that both needs there branches to be trimmed. One tree is located at 243 Clendenny Ave. and the other is located at 245 Clendenny Ave."
