  • 1 Hampton Ct Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
This tree was already reported weeks ago. There is a very large branch that is coming down and it was not addressed. It is pushing on wires and is an immediate hazard. It is going to come down and will damage vehicles or hurt someone. This needs to be addressed this Monday.
  • 44-98 Mountain Rd Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Sections of the sidewalk are obstructed by tree branches that hang down
  • 113-153 Central Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heights
There are trees growing sideways out of the entire length of the supporting stone wall of Reservoir #3 along Central Ave. The trees are growing out through the spaces between the stones, into the direction of the sidewalk area, and the pressure of this growth is starting to dislodge stones from the wall. In many places along the wall, the stones are being pushed out. It is only a matter of time before these large stones start falling out of the wall, creating a dangerous situation for pedestrians while also destabilizing the wall itself. Currently, some of the protruding branches are long enough that pedestrians have to duck and dodge them while using the sidewalk. Please send a team of workers to remove the limbs that are growing from the wall, and reset/repair the stones that have been displaced.

  • 74 College St Jersey City, NJ 07305, USA - Greenville
tree branches continue to fall from tree. this was a near miss as I was walking into my home!!! and nearly destroyed a vehicle
  • 263-275 York St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

This branch is consistently hitting my window and I’m afraid it will break the window during a rain storm.

The tree as a whole seems healthy, but does have some very unhealthy looking branches.

There is currently construction on the far end of the block, so parking and work shouldn’t be much issue if this work is done promptly.

  • 340 York St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
The three enormous oak trees along the western side of my house (on Varick Street) need to be trimmed back, please. Whenever there's a storm, branches snap off, and there are branches hanging over the top of my roof and continually dropping debris -- branches, acorns, and leaves -- on the roof that requires the gutters to be cleared constantly. We also had a carpenter ant infestation and were advised to make sure the branches don't reach the house to avoid this happening again.
  • 2-48 Henry St Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
This tree and the couple of trees right after it need to be trimmed. You have to bed over to walk under the branches when you walk by.
  • 16 Fairmount Ter Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - West Side

My main concern is a large branch that spans half the size of the tree. This branch reaches towards my house and hovers above my front stairs. It is also starting to grow past the front of my roof.

Other tree branches need general pruning as well, with many branches falling during windy or rainy conditions.

    Hello,

I hope you’re doing well. I would like to request tree pruning on Marvin Boulevard on the side closest to the Waterfront. As a taller person, I’ve noticed that some of the trees are hanging a bit low for comfort when walking by. The areas where pruning would be helpful are:

    - Marvin Boulevard between Montgomery Street and York Street on the side closest to the waterfront

    - Marvin Boulevard between York Street and Grand Street on the side closest to the waterfront.

    Thanks!
