Three weeks ago a new tree was planted along the side of the HCCC building on Smith St(real address 870 Bergen Ave), in the back by the storeroom. No one has been back to water it since then and it's in desperate need of water. The contractors who planted the tree are supposed to water them once a week for a year but they haven't been back to water this one. Can we get it some water right away?

  • 316 Halladay St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
The tree in front of 312 Halladay might need some help. The original wooden spike wires that were first installed when the tree was young are now stuck in its trunk. Not sure if they're completely wrapped around its trunk prohibiting growth, however there are wires embedded inside. Is there a way to help it grow?

Tree has a large hole all the way through, that looks to be rotting, and continues to deteriorate. It has gotten 1 to 2 inches longer over the past year or so. the tree also leans out into street, forcing cars to park further from the curb, as seen in the attached photo. Not sure if this is a risk for collapse, so posting in the hopes that someone can assess. If this were to collapse, as ones in Hamilton Park have done, it would cause significant damage to any car parked there.
