Trees - General InquiryLa qiray104 Logan Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal SquareThere’s no way they have a forestry permit for this work. I saw them pouring a few days ago and couldn’t post until now. These tree pits are too small and were done to accommodate a driveway. The forestry department would not have approved that. This means this tree work was done illegally without a permit. Please do something before they finish the house. That strange metal gate around the tree is also a violation. The address might actually be 106, I was in a hurry. Please check asap.

Sidewalk DefectLa qiray18 Fairmount Ter Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - West SideLarge tree in front of my home 18 Fairmount Terrace is dangerously leaning towards the middle of the street. In addition, the large overgrown roots of the tree is lifting the concrete of the sidewalk causing an unsafe and uneven walking surface. The street gets heavy foot traffic due to the nearby St. Peter’s University student population & faculty staff & visitors. The tree is causing unsafe conditions & possibly falling onto oncoming traffic or onto a parked car or nearby homes. In order to avoid a foreseeable tragedy the tree needs to be removed & grind down the stump to sidewalk level. Anything that can be done to remedy this situation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. Felix & Wilma Pacheco concerned homeowners.

Trees - General InquiryLa qiray266 Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The HeightsThe trees on the side of New York Ave need attention. There are tons of cut or broken branches that should be cleared out. There are also many dead trees that could fall and cause significant damage further up on the hill. It would be great for someone to come and inspect and make a plan for removal and clearing of the area. The retention wall appears to have some structural issues as well. Clearing the trees will make that easier to investigate

Trees - General InquiryLa qiray102 Logan Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal SquareThese trees have now been utterly butchered with improper pruning and there is a POWER LINE wrapped around one of them. These trees will likely have to be removed now. The developer needs to be fined for illegal pruning and sabotaging these trees
