This is a follow up to my Tree Pruning Request 14733245 on June 20, 2023. This request was acknowledged by Angelina and she advised me to contact PSE&G which I did. I finally received an answer today and here is PSE&G response (from an e-mail sent to me):

Wed, Sep 13 at 9:16 AMPer my field assessment at 53 Beach St, Jersey City on 9/13/23, 830AM
The high voltage 13kv primary wires are located on the other side of the street.
The pear tree in front of the home does not require maintenance for the service wire.
The PSEG service wire is below the voltage that is regulated by the BPU and OSHA.
This means any arborist or landscaper can work near this wire while trimming a tree without needing any electrical certifications or PSEG assistance.
PSEG expects owners of the trees to maintain them when they are greater than 10’ from high voltage primary conductors., but will respond in a hazardous situation such as mechanical failure.
Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Thank you,

610.392.2275As you can see by the PSE&G response they are not responsible for trimming the tree.
I would like to request that this tree in front of my home be trimmed by the appropriate department in Jersey City, NJ. It is quite tall and top-heavy and very much in need of a good pruning.
