    I strongly believe the vine growing up the tree trunk is poison ivy. Many people are allergic to the oils of this plant and it poses a hazard to anyone who may brush past it, including children and pets. Please make sure the folks removing it also take proper protective precautions. Thank you!

    This tree has suddenly started to die quite rapidly this spring. It was doing very well all last year. It blossomed and then, the entire mid section turned brown. While a few outer branches grew leaves, they are now starting to die off as well. I believe it has fungal cankers along the truck.
