The charging stations are rarely available to use in front of the Oakman. It's very frustrating the parking in front of the charging stations are occupied by non- electric vehicles. Kindly consider adding signage stating "Tow Away Zone- Plugged In Vehicles Only" would
alleviate the problem as well as green lines painted on the ground as they are in other places around the city. There actually used to be signs some months back but they were removed.
  • 743–751 Montgomery St Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - McGinley Square
Someone posted this back in April and the issue says it was acknowledged but is without resolution. The eastbound lane on Montgomery Street at the Bergen Avenue intersection is problematic and I witnessed 2 near-collisions tonight. The left lane has an up or left faded arrow. (Most people seem to presume it is a left only but the city changed that to either/or during the road redesign and drivers in the right lane plow forward). The right lane has an up arrow only and drivers cannot go straight as they have to merge left to avoid bike lane. Since bike lanes were installed, there is a near impossible merge here and confusion due to poor striping and signage. Maybe the turn arrow light needs to be timed. Maybe the left lane needs to be turn only. Maybe the underutilized bike lanes need to be removed. Something has to be addressed here because it's a catastrophe. This road layout is dangerous and accidents are waiting to happen here. School is about to open, bringing more traffic, families and kids into the area. Please address this poorly planned intersection, road striping and signage to prevent crashes or pedestrian fatalities. Most of the sidewalks in the area are also impassible for walking pedestrians due to multiple constructions projects saturating McGinley Square.

Hit and run, but damage to the city installed hand rail.

Reported to JCPD, they said they would send someone out to take a look

  • Christopher Columbus Dr & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
This is one of the most dangerous intersections in downtown jersey city to cross for cars and pedestrians. Cars making left turns onto jersey avenue have very low visibility as to oncoming traffic, which creates a serious traffic safety issue.
  • Speed Hump RequestΑναγνωρισμένο
157-195 Manhattan Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Requesting the construction of necessary traffic calming measures on Manhattan Ave (a two lane, residential roadway with a posted speed of less than 30 mph) between 157 and 195.
  • Christopher Columbus Dr & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Need traffic dividers on Columbus at Jersey Ave. People cutting from the left only to the right lane at the last minute creating delays in the right lane. If the city is going to change the traffic patterns they should at least enforce the new rules. Put a cop here in the morning rush hour and watch how many cars cut in at the light. Not fair to the people doing the right thing in the right lane.
  • 123 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - McGinley Square

Intersection between Gardner Ave & Summit Ave. Cars are frequently parked at or near the intersection, making it dangerous to cross this intersection. There used to be a No parking sign that was removed (see picture). Requesting to re-install the sign and paint the sidewalk yellow to mark a no-parking zone.

  • 525 Washington Blvd Jersey City NJ 07310, United States - The Waterfront
These delivery trucks just drive over and break the delineators Can the city install solid delineators to prevent this?
  • 65 Woodward St Jersey City NJ 07304, United States - Bergen-Lafayette
On this corner there's always some van are vehicles blocking the flow of traffic going on to Bramhall
    Not only that
There needs to be marked areas where vehicles will know and have no excuse that they can't park on these corners
A red or yellowed out area
And just a heads up hardly anyone is slowing down for the new signs posted in that area
  • Concord St & Fleet St Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heights

Can the intersection be repainted with zebra lines and repaint the "STOP" written on the road.

Hardly any cars really stop on this stop sign. As this street is adjacent to highway 139 lots of traffic during rush hours.

184–198 Chapel Ave Jersey City 07305, United States - Liberty Park
I thought we were finally getting our first protected bike lanes in Greenville but I guess it was just another lane to park cars? If no one knows or cares that it’s a bike lane, is it really a bike lane? Why is it like this?
  • Homestead Pl & Pavonia Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square

    This intersection was recently repaved.

It needs new zebra stripes for the pedestrian crosswalk.
