  • 1st St & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
This intersection is extremely dangerous, with very few cars stopping for the stop signs There are many pedestrians in the area, and children's nurseries on two corners Please either start enforcing these stops signs or find ways to make the intersection safer
  • Old Bergen Rd At Winfield Ave Jersey City, NJ 07305, USA - Greenville
The intersection of Winfield and Old Bergen Rd. desperately needs stop signs, a traffic signal, or a speed bump. Cars speed dangerously down Old Bergen Rd at all hours as the entire stretch from Merritt St to Bartholdi has no traffic signals, stop signs, speed bumps, etc. The Winfield intersection is particularly vulnerable as residents, including children and those with pets, trying to cross into or out of Columbia Park face very dangerous conditions. These conditions also include cars turning left on to Old Bergen Rd. from Bartholdi when those cars catch the green light. Knowing there's no stop sign or speed bump there, cars turn left on to Old Bergen Rd at or above the speed limit with low visibility. if you're a pedestrian crossing Old Bergen Rd those left-turning cars are an additional hazard that are not visible and can't be anticipated.
  • Hutton St & Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
Cars regularly blow through solid red lights at the intersection of Summit and Hutton. Case in point, I was almost was hit when a white sedan ignored the red light as I was crossing Summit. This happens at least once a day on my commute. Can you please do a study or put up a ticketing light to deter negligent drivers? Thank you.

  • 164–170 Lafayette St Jersey City NJ 07304, United States - Bergen-Lafayette
People are leaving the Whitlock Mills complex at 160 Lafayette Street, and the gate is consistently broken due to some people attempting to enter from the rear while it's open. This poses a significant risk to children and pedestrians in the vicinity. The straightforward solution to this pressing problem is to designate Lafayette Street as one-way from Manning Avenue to Pacific Avenue, as it's already one-way from Pacific Avenue to Monitor Street.
  • Jersey Ave & Regent St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
No one stopping for pedestrians at cross walk
  • 150 Van Winkle Ave Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - Journal Square
There is constant traffic backing up on Van Winkle as well as St Paul's Avenue (between Tonnelle Ave and JFK) while the commercial corridor and designated truck route of Newark Ave remains empty or has far less volume even during peak rush hours Van Winkle and St Paul's (both residential streets) continue to be cut-thrus for impatient and aggressive drivers, creating unsafe conditions for pedestrians while contributing to the excessive noise and air pollution.
