People are leaving the Whitlock Mills complex at 160 Lafayette Street, and the gate is consistently broken due to some people attempting to enter from the rear while it's open. This poses a significant risk to children and pedestrians in the vicinity. The straightforward solution to this pressing problem is to designate Lafayette Street as one-way from Manning Avenue to Pacific Avenue, as it's already one-way from Pacific Avenue to Monitor Street.

Bollards are completely flattened. The daylighting in a tough intersection is not working. Cars are parking over the bollards, like this SUV. Need stronger, sturdier bollards. This is a safety issue for pedestrians

This is another corner that needs the white poles, coming up this hill is dangerous as well with the stop sign not being enough to see who is coming at a blind corner

The Columbus Triangle at Monmouth and Newark Ave should be significantly extended. The road here is so wide that cars can stop illegally along it without impeding traffic. Add extensions to shorten the crosswalk, narrow the street, and slow traffic.

Would it be possible to have a crosswalk installed on Garfield Ave connecting Terry Dehere Park basketball court and Berry Lane? Currently there are no crosswalks on the north side of the park here. People have to walk a few blocks south or a few blocks north just to cross the street. There a lot of people jaywalking to cross over Garfield to get to Torico as well.

I have come across a handful of car accidents on Jersey Avenue underneath the Hoboken city entrance. I believe we need reflecting cones to signal that a sharp turn is approaching. This is a dangerous road which needs to be addressed.

Cars run this stop sign all the time. There are plenty of parents with children and strollers who walk to daycare and the cars just do not stop. Every intersection in this area is unsafe (warren and 2nd, warren and 1st, warren and bay, warren and Morgan). Cars tend to even speed up to go through the stop sign if they are you are walking towards the intersection and think they will have to stop for you

The cross walk on Ogden & Bowers, used to get to and from the playground at Riverview, really needs a stop sign or a pedestrian crossing sign. There is a speed hump right before so once people drive over that they tend to speed up just in time for the cross walk. Also there’s always cars parked right before the crosswalk which makes seeing if a car is coming difficult, especially if pushing a stroller. Thanks for considering

Police vehicles consistently park in crosswalks at the intersection of Central and Hutton. Please install curb extensions to enforce the required 25 foot distance from the crosswalk.

The pedestrian crossing on this street is always blocked by cars who frequent the corner store. This obstructs the views of both pedestrians and drivers. I’ve almost been hit due to a parked car on the crossing when I was trying to walk across the street. Delineators would be a great solution for this ongoing nuisance as pedestrian safety is much needed especially around this neighborhood.
