  • 18th St & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
Thers needs to be a left turn arrow installed at the intersection of 18th st and Jersey Ave. Traffic heading North on Jersey Ave from East bound 18th st is constantly backed up as only 4-5 cars can make a left turn in a cycle. There have been several hundred apartments built in this immediate area and the time has come for this common sense solution
  • Bevan St & St Pauls Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
The corner of Bevan & St Paul’s is extremely unsafe. I commute everyday and have almost been hit by speeding cars once or twice a month at least because cars speed through the cross walk to cut onto 139 asap driving east (from JFK) down Saint Paul’s street. There’s SO MANY kids that commute to school through this intersection that live in the st pauls condos and surrounding area, it’s truthfully so unsafe. As a pregnant woman it’s scary even more for me now can only imagine what it’s like for a family with several kids / stroller.
  • Bowers St & Ogden Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
The cross walk on Ogden & Bowers, used to get to and from the playground at Riverview, really needs a stop sign or a pedestrian crossing sign. There is a speed hump right before so once people drive over that they tend to speed up just in time for the cross walk. Also there’s always cars parked right before the crosswalk which makes seeing if a car is coming difficult, especially if pushing a stroller. Thanks for considering
  • 221–241 Tenth St Jersey City NJ 07302, United States - Downtown
Please install full traffic signals (red green yellow) at the 10th and Erie intersection Commuters use Erie to bypass tunnel traffic along Marin and do not obey the current stop signal, creating an unsafe crosswalk for pedestrians The volume of traffic and the neighborhood density warrant a fully controlled intersection
  • 298 Grand St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
Speeding down grand street has become a pastime for motorcycles and cars. Is anyone ever going to address it?
  • Bergen Ave & Union St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07304 - Bergen-Lafayette
According to the constituents I spoke with they claim that cars are constantly speeding down the block and even with the speed humps in place they still aren't slowing down. Most of the residents in this block are seniors and they claim a camera could be put in place just to deter some drivers from speeding.
  • 401-401 Claremont Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - West Side

The street on Claremont avenue, has no speed bumps, cross walk, crossing signs or stops signs for pedestrians to cross from the park and ride to enter the new apartment building called 3 Acres.

We’ve had an incident where a car ran into the building last year.

  • Bergen Ave & Wilkinson Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Greenville

  • Barrow St & Wayne St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

  • Bowers St & John F Kennedy Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
The walk signal to cross Kennedy from the north corner of Bowers has been turned, and the signal is not visible by pedestrians crossing from the Bowers side.
  • Bramhall Ave & Ocean Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette

Dangerous Intersection (Ocean/Bramhall) in School Zone

Requesting a Traffic Study to determine appropriate traffic calming & pedestrian safety infrastructure improvements.

This is a dangerous intersection next to a school - speeding vehicles and lack of traffic calming infrastructure make this area very dangerous for both pedestrians and drivers.

There are regular traffic accidents surrounding this intersection due to speeding vehicles. Poor lines of sight and wide lanes compound the issue. Infrastructure improvements are desperately needed to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers alike.

Please consider implementing “no right turn on red”, Leading Pedestrian Intervals and installing pedestrian refuges/median islands, curb extensions among other appropriate safety measures.

    Thank you

  • Liberty Ave & Thorne St Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
This is a very sharp corner curving through liberty, furthermore there is a seep hill coming up going east crossing Liberty Ave. the city installed a no parking sign but it does not stop people from parking and making this a blind corner. I am requesting the City install the white poles at this corner to ensure people can not park at this corner.
