  • 32 Claremont Ave Jersey City 07305, United States - Bergen-Lafayette
Claremont is a two way street which allows parking on both sides of the street. If two cars are coming in opposite directions there is no room to pass. This street should be a one way street or have parking on only one side

Irving St & Nelson Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
You’ve got your own Jersey City employees breaking parking poles and blocking the corner.
  • 273–289 Johnston Ave Jersey City 07304, United States - Bergen-Lafayette
Visibility issue at the corner of Garabrant St. & Johnston Ave. The very large construction trucks/vans make it impossible to see incoming traffic.
  • Bramhall Ave & Garfield Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
Hi! Just a reminder that someone is going to die or be seriously injured at this ineffective crosswalk and the city will most likely get sued and lose a lot of money Ideally these posts contribute to the lawsuit Thanks!
  • 260 9th St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
Broken white stantions all around Hamilton Park. This picture is 9th St at Jersey Ave, northwest corner. Another one is down diagonally across the intersection in front of the basketball court at the southeast corner.
  • Sip Ave At Garrison Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306, USA - Journal Square

There are two crosswalks here, and Sip is a busy road. People are constantly speeding down the hill from JFK and almost hitting people in the crosswalk

Is there any sort of traffic calming that can be added here?

  • 443 Ogden Ave Jersey City 07307, United States - The Heights
Something like 30-50 / hr buses try to squeeze through the block of Congress between Paterson Plank and Palisade—plus hundreds of vehicles and pedestrians. The onstreet parking of 20 cars should be banned during the morning rush. It makes difficult for buses to turn and reduces visibility of pedestrians at crosswalks. This would be a minor inconvenience for 20 people easing travel for thousands.
  • 17th St & Coles St Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
Hello. This is not my first and probably will not be my last complaint lobbied about this intersection. This intersection is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS for pedestrians, especially with kids and pets, crossing. And where do kids and pets like to go? Across the street into Coles Park. A dog was hit and killed in this area last week. I was nearly struck with my pet twice in the last week. My husband was nearly struck and hit with our dog today because someone sped up towards the flashing lights. I wanted a woman nearly get hit this morning and the driver rolled down his window and cursed at her. THE FLASHING LIGHTS ARE NOT ENOUGH. PLEASE STUDY AND FIX THIS INTERSECTION. I do not want to go outside just assuming it's only a matter of time until me and my dog are hit and injured or worse.
  • 290–304 Grove St Jersey City NJ 07302, United States - Downtown
Restaurant street seating on Grove is making it challenging and unsafe for drivers and pedestrians These small huts make it challenging to see the stop signs or pedestrians trying to cross at the crosswalk More importantly these little hut like structures make it impossible for drivers to pull over and allow ambulances or police to pass Now that the pandemic sanctions are lifted can the city please remove these for safety concerns More cars are out and about as well as people since COVID restrictions are lifted which makes this more dangerous Please look into this ASAP Much Appreciated
  • Arlington Ave & Harmon St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
Cars do not stop at the crosswalk for pedestrians at the corner of Arlington Ave. and Harmon St. The stop sign is hidden and not visible.
  • 539 Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306, USA - Journal Square
intersection of pavonia and summit needs either a light for each direction of pavonia or a turn lane/turn signal
  • 379 Baldwin Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306, USA - The Heights
We need bollards, poles, planters, or some other sort of physical deterrent to prevent vehicles from parking on the sidewalk on Baldwin Ave between NJ 139 and Fleet St. I observe personal, delivery, and city vehicles parking on the sidewalk here on a weekly basis. The barriers that are installed further north on Baldwin (poles between Fleet and St Pauls as well as between Hopkins and Beacon) seem to help to an extent. Please can this be replicated along the length of Baldwin Ave on the sides of the street with no parking to prevent this dangerous driver behavior? Baldwin Ave is on the city's high injury network, and the intersections at 139 and Jefferson are no strangers to tragic crashes.
