  • 2 Hopkins Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306, USA - The Heights
The crosswalks on Hopkins Ave at Palisade Ave are constantly blocked by Dunkin Donuts customers. Because they are parked their for a short time each individual driver knows that they are very unlikely to be ticketed. However, so many people do it that as a pedestrian it feels like the crosswalk is always blocked. Drivers also roll through the crosswalk very fast especially if they are turning right. Curb extensions here would slow down turning drivers, improve sightlines for everyone involved and prevent blocking the crosswalk.
  • 260 9th St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
Broken white stantions all around Hamilton Park. This picture is 9th St at Jersey Ave, northwest corner. Another one is down diagonally across the intersection in front of the basketball court at the southeast corner.
  • 227 5th St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown

  • Barrow St & Bright St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Please consider changing pedestrian crossing so that pedestrians are given opportunity to cross street even if button is not pressed.
  • 187 Christopher Columbus Dr Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
Something needs to be done to slow the traffic and acceleration of vehicles traveling west on Columbus. Once they get through the congestion at Grove and pass Jersey Ave, drivers rapidly accelerate and speed from Jersey Ave west past Varick, Monmouth and Brunswick. It’s increasingly dangerous, not to mention a noise nuisance.
  • 216 Bowers St Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
This is the second time I've put in for this, but the intersection of Bowers and Milton NEEDS a stop sign! You disregarded it before but it is clearly a safety concern. I just watched a guy almost hit a woman crossing. I yelled at him that she had the right of way and he flipped me off. So of this not to mention how impossible it is to turn onto Bowers without pulling halfway into the intersection. It is so dangerous, and for what? To continue to leave this intersection without a stop sign is not only irresponsible, but shows how little Jersey City cares for pedestrians.
  • 32 Claremont Ave Jersey City 07305, United States - Bergen-Lafayette
Claremont is a two way street which allows parking on both sides of the street. If two cars are coming in opposite directions there is no room to pass. This street should be a one way street or have parking on only one side
  • Garfield Ave At Bramhall Ave Jersey City, NJ 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
This intersection has a pedestrian crosswalk with flashing lights but no car will actually stop for pedestrians . I was almost hit today while crossing with the flashers on. I have a toddler and this is just a pedestrian getting hit waiting to happen.
  • 301-313 Coles St Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
This corner was to an area which was abdnadoned previously and fenced off and now it connects cast iron 2 to a park , which means it promotes high occupancy of foot traffic and animals. Please advise as to why there is not a stop sign both ways at this location.
  • 184 Morgan St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown

Traffic on Columbus and Marin is a headache and a hazard during rush hour and now with all the construction on Marin its becoming a nightmare.

    Have you thought about
    1. directing cars coming onto Morgan street between Marin and Newark to Newark Avenue
    2. directing cars coming onto Morgan street between Marin and Warren to Warren Street.
    3. By doing this you can remove the light on Marin/Morgan which will eliminate the backup on Columbus

    just a thought
