  • Arlington Ave & Claremont Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
Could we have an office at this intersection on weekday mornings? I nearly got hit crossing at the crosswalk this morning by someone running the stop sign. This is not the first time I've nearly been hit, and every single morning on my commute I see multiple people run these stop signs while people are trying to cross with young kids on their way to school. People speed down Arlington despite the speed bumps and it's getting out of hand!!
  • 373 Monmouth St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown

The Monmouth Ave redesign added three parking spots instead of adding a loading zone. Now delivery trucks just double park blocking the right lane. This causes congestion and tons of noise from honking as cars make an unexpected lane merge from 2 down to 1.

Make those spots a loading zone.

  • 10th St & Manila Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

    Manila and 10th

two parallel rows of cars coming from 12th Street are stopping (kind of) at the STOP
one row is turning right and another’s is going standing - it is impossible to cross the street safely

please make Manila one lane going into the stop sign

  • 523-527 Washington Blvd Jersey City, New Jersey, 07310 - The Waterfront

Request for bollards to separate the road from the bike lane/sidewalk at Washington Blvd in front of Chipotle.

There is a constant presence of vehicles stopped or parked in the crosswalk/bike lane here. This is dangerous as it forces bikes into the street or the sidewalk, reduces visibility of pedestrians for cars, and increases points of conflict for cars, pedestrians, and bikes.

There should be a physical barrier to prevent these cars from parking here while still allowing pedestrians through, since there doesn't seem to be any enforcement of parking rules here.

  • Brinkerhoff St & Monticello Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07304 - McGinley Square
Resident states that vehicles always speed down this block and do not care for the pedestrians in the crosswalk.
  • Brunswick St & Christopher Columbus Dr Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

Intersection of Columbus and Brunswick. Crossing Columbus. When traffic light turns green don’t walk sign does not change to walk.

This has been fixed 2x before. Ongoing problem.

  • 2nd St & Warren St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Cars run this stop sign all the time. There are plenty of parents with children and strollers who walk to daycare and the cars just do not stop. Every intersection in this area is unsafe (warren and 2nd, warren and 1st, warren and bay, warren and Morgan). Cars tend to even speed up to go through the stop sign if they are you are walking towards the intersection and think they will have to stop for you.

Skillman Ave & Van Winkle Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Requesting a speed bump or a stop sign at this pedestrian heavy crossings on Van Winkle and Skillman Ave. Cars speed up this hill just to beat the signal and reach JFK Blvd. There have been multiple instances of pedestrians almost getting run over.

771-793 Newark Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square
So many open parking spots, and delivery people feel fully entitled to use every non parking zone We need actual blockages of these spots for safe pedestrian crossing These 2 blocks are an absolute disaster and an absolute 3rd world
  • Pearl St & Washington St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront
Can we have pedestrian crossing warning lights added here?
  • 17th St & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
Picture attached show la vehicle totaled after driver crossed double yellow as explained above
