Intersection between Gardner Ave & Summit Ave. Cars are frequently parked at or near the intersection, making it dangerous to cross this intersection. There used to be a No parking sign that was removed (see picture). Requesting to re-install the sign and paint the sidewalk yellow to mark a no-parking zone.

  • College St & Towers St Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Greenville
Crosswalk is unpainted and cars typically turn onto Towers St at high speeds. A lack of visibility, combined with the wide turning radii makes this intersection unsafe for pedestrians. It would be great if this crossing could be shortened and visibility could be increased!

  • 3rd St & Coles St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
A constituent called to report that there is no crosswalk painted from the southeast corner to the southwest corner of this busy street. According to a resident, the painted crosswalk was denied to be painted because there are two cut curbs on either side of 3rd Street and Coles Street. However, as you can see from the pictures attached, the cut curb on the southwest corner of Coles/3rd is a newly renovated apartment building with no garage doors just a window on the building facing Coles. No need whatsoever for a cut curb.
  • Romaine Ave & Broadway Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square

This striping is dated and dangerous. All crosswalks should marked/zebra striping or an equivalent design.

This also looks like a very fresh paint job, why are we still using this pattern when we know it isn't any good?

  • Corbin Ave & Pavonia Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square
Half of the striping was removed during road work but never repainted. The other half of the striping is almost completely faded away
