  • Chestnut Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Request for new sign: Hello! Can we please have NO PARKING signs placed on this bridge? There are people parking on both sides on the bridge which turns the bridge into 1 lane street (it's a 2 way street). It is causing issues with cars trying to pass through. Thank you.

  • Broadway & Tonnelle Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Tonnelle Ave sign held now by just one bracket and flogging in the wind, could come flying off?
  • Skinner Mem Dr Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
There is a no-stop zone here at the intersection that is almost impossible to see for drivers at night and in inclement weather. There should be signage warning drivers of the rail train tracks before the no-stop zone leading up to the tracks that can be seen at night and guard rails between traffic and the rail tracks that are also visible at night. Anything to improve visibility will increase safety measures in this area. measures, especially during heavy rain, sleet, and snow.

  • 6 Linden Ave E Jersey City 07305, United States - Jersey City
Missing stop sign on the westbound of Linden Ave at T-cross with route 185. Infrequent traffic in this direction but cars always move toward west side recklessly without slowing down and checking the heavy traffic from route 185, which makes left turn to get on Linden Ave. The drivers who make left turn don’t have complete visibility on the right hand side until the two cars get close enough.
  • Whiton St & Lafayette St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07304 - Bergen-Lafayette
Stop sign needs to be replaced, it has been duct taped up for now.

    1. Remove ONE-WAY signs.
    2. Rotate the west side parking signs to face correct, south direction.

Original request from October 2023 was never addressed.

  • Chestnut Ave & Pavonia Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
The "No Parking Anytime" sign on the west side of Chestnut near this intersection is faded and illegible. Granted it should be clear you can't park here (given fire hydrant) but cars regularly park on these corners. Exacerbates an already very bad traffic situation, since vehicles literally can't fit pass each other through the intersection when cars are illegally parked on the corners.
  • 310-340 Christopher Columbus Dr Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

This well-intentioned sign is too low and obstructs bike lane. This bike lane is used frequently by low-income commuters and food delivery services, to say nothing of recreational use.

You can see it's bent, probably due to people hitting it with their shoulder.
