Atlantic St & Sackett St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-LafayetteThe resident on Sackett and Atlantic Streets said that cars often speed past the stop sign on this corner and there is a school, #14, a block away, and almost daily someone avoids being hit by a car but barely. Just today a teacher almost got hit crossing. It is an emergency route so there are no speed humps, but there needs to be either flashing stop signs or possibly a traffic light.

Ocean Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-LafayetteThis individual has requested that the "Traffic Lights" on Ocean Ave. between Danforth Ave. and Merritt St. be timed in a way to have consistant traffic flow. He said, the lights a presently timed to have vehicles stop at every Traffic Light along this route.

Saint Pauls Ave & Summit Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heightsthis light is already timed for a delayed green if you're coming northbound on summit. there's no signage however! we could use an arrow for the early green if you're going southbound!

79-99 Giles Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Hi -- I know this is the wrong category, but I don't know which other is applicable.
West Side Ave between Broadway and Marion is going to be closed for the next 15 weeks due to a below-ground utility work. The detour being put in place brings Broadway-bound cars traveling on West Side Ave west on Pavonia and north on Giles.
However, the school on the corner, due to lack of outdoor space, closes the street for recess in the middle of each day. This brings traffic south on Giles, east on Fox Place, and back onto Westside, creating a traffic feedback loop.
Can you please coordinate with the utility to adjust the detour accordingly, at least until the end of the school year?
It's probably prudent to bump this request as well if there is going to be increased traffic volume entering Broadway from the Giles. This was raised 5 months ago, but the trail has gone cold. The city acknowledged the need for additional measures at this intersection as part of the traffic study associated with the planning approval for the work at 111 Giles.
Appreciate y'all -- any help you can provide is always valued.

30 Olean Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07304 - West SideThis is a dead-end at Olean Avenue at the same time it’s an entrance to Lincoln Park
This entrance is been blocked by car parked all the time plus a bike chained to the entrance all the time
Is been months
Hard to enter and exit to the park
There were several complaints about fixing this issue so far nothing is done
Even the cleaning is not done properly due to the blockage
A handicap person or some one with physical disability can not enter and exit to the park because of the Bike and cars.
It’s really frustrating 🙁 -
Martin Luther King Jr Dr & Warner Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - GreenvilleThis intersection is very dangerous. Warner and MLK is a busy intersection with no 4 way Stop sign or light. There is only one stop sign , and cars parked on the corner no visibly when vehicles are speeding down the street . There's a school close by . Warner ave has become a racetrack for driver with nothing to slow them down. I am requesting that speedbumps be places on warner ave, and 4 way signs at every intersection

New York Ave & Ravine Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The HeightsRequesting curb bump outs installed at the intersection of NY Ave & Ravine Delineators were installed here and it was turned into an all way stop, however, cars are always blowing through the stop signs without looking here and with cars coming from every direction, it makes crossing as a pedestrian very difficult, especially crossing across the top of New York Ave because it's so much wider than the other streets The bump outs would make it much safer and also hopefully slow cars down more Biggest issue are cars turning right onto NY from Ravine, no one ever stops, even when pedestrians are visible. NY Ave is scheduled to be paved this month (hopefully), so it would be great to include this with that project.r

Ege Ave & Mallory Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - West SideI've almost been run over by fast moving cars at this intersection TWICE NOW. To the point where I'm concerned enough to report this and request this intersection to maybe have a right turn priority light? Instead of full green for all cars? The times I was almost hit, was from cars turning right, into my direction as I'm crossing, rather than the cars going parallel with the direction I'm walking in.
