  • Manhattan Ave & Tonnele Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights

It is dangerous to turn left onto Tonnelle Ave when coming down Manhattan Ave. Its like people play Russian roulette to beat the cars coming straight from County Ave. I see, daily, so many cars avoid near miss collisions.

A simple fix of having a left turn only traffic signal for a few minutes before the incoming traffic signal's green light can reduce any chance of collision. This will allow the left turners to go inside of squeezing in before and after the incoming traffic headed up Manhattan Ave.

  • 4th St & Metro Plaza Dr Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront
Sidewalk to cross the light rail tracks on the north side of 4th street is blocked by a permanently installed metal fence. Photo taken from the east side of the tracks heading west. Note the WALK signal.
  • 284 Johnston Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07304 - Bergen-Lafayette
There were plans to add a protected bike lane down Johnston Ave. Has there been any update on the timeline for completion of this project? Thanks!?

273 16th St Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
16th street between Coles and Jersey ave is a 2 way street. But directly in front of the Soho Lofts building the sidewalk bumps out into the street and when cars are parked there it only allows room for 1 car to pass. This causes nonstop traffic jams and relentless horn blowing. There needs to be a yellow curb/no parking in front of the entrance of the building. This would allow traffic to flow properly.
  • 90-130 Beach St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights
The yellow curbs on the west side of Beach Street at JFK have been spray painted black, with cars chronically illegally parked There is also no "no parking to corner" signage

10th St & Erie St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
The car honking and traffic congestion in the vicinity of Erie St and 10th St is out of control. The worst times seem to be in the afternoons and evenings on Saturdays and Sundays. This issue is negatively affecting the quality of life in the Hamilton Park neighborhood. Please make an effort to enforce the traffic laws in this area regarding unnecessary honking and failing to stop at a stop sign. Please also consider closing parts of Erie St to traffic on the weekends. Drivers should use the highways to get to the Holland Tunnel instead of cutting through the residential streets of Jersey City.

  • Park Ln N Jersey City NJ 07310, United States - The Waterfront
Please make it so that the turn signal at Park Lane and Washington boulevard only activates if there's an actual car there? So many times the cars going straight on Washington have to sit and wait for the turn signal and there are zero cars turning Let try to get traffic moving in this city
  • Columbia Ave & North St Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
these corner plates are broken and/or missing. this is dangerous. And it is winter, this is the crosswalk and I won't be able to clear the snow and ice.
  • 255 Coles St Jersey City, NJ, 07310, USA - Downtown
With the new residential buildings along Coles St. between 14th & 18th, they didn't install any curb cutouts or areas for resident drop-off/pick-ups. As a result, cars are often double parked on Coles Street impeding the flow of traffic. Can you please require the buildings to have curb cutouts installed or direct passengers to proper loading areas? With the new protected bike lane and the residents abusing the flow of traffic, it's a consistent traffic jam on Coles Street.
