  • Wilkinson Ave & Bergen Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07305 - Greenville
Resident states there need to be yellow lines implemented near this intersection as there have been many accidents near this corner. As well as pedestrians being hit. Nothing has been about this.
  • 7th St & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

This is outrageous. The city should immediately be re-painting the stop lines and crosswalks after paving is complete. Certainly within 24 hours.

What is the reason for this delay? Is it day five already?

It was just over three months ago that a young boy was tragically killed a block from here.

  • 28 Kellogg St Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - Hackensack Riverfront
Need 'Dont block the box' signage at 2 places on Kellogg Street (indicated on the attached image). A new Target store is set to open in Stadium Plaza. The only way to enter this plaza from points south will be to take a left on Kellogg Street from Route 440. This will lead to blocking of traffic exiting the Stdium Plaza and heading to points north on Route 440 via the Kellogg Street jughandle. The 2 'dont block the box' striping will alleviate this traffic issue.
  • 29 Journal Sq Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Square

  • Glenwood Ave & West Side Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - West Side
I want to request if you can check this street Glenwood Ave and westside Ave., if your coming to Glenwood Ave., will be on your left side. Everytime I will turn left to Westside ave. And there's a car park there especially big car or truck. Its like a blind sided you need to move slowly to see if there's a car coming to be able to get a left turn, I do have a compact car and it's hard for me to see the coming car. Maybe you can put those white thing or any sign that said no parking on that lane, so that it will be easy for motorist to see on the left side of westside Ave. Coming to Glenwood Ave. Hoping someone can check this please, before something happen like accident.
  • North St & Sherman Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07307, USA - The Heights
No flex posts installed so it defeats purpose . Right across the street from a park where traffic calming is needed
  • 71 Bowers St Jersey City 07307, United States - The Heights
In many intersections in the Heights four way stop signs have been put in place. (Picture is Bowers and Sherman). While that is helpful for pedestrian safety, I do hope you plan to add Stop to the pavement as a marking as right now many people who are not used to the four way stop signs are blowing through them . I was almost hit twice today. Please when the weather can accommodate it add Stop painter to asphalt so people are aware
  • Christopher Columbus Dr & Monmouth St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Delineation lines need to be painted in both lanes here way further back — “turn only” lane is not clear enough and causes constant traffic cutoffs. Please fix ASAP. More signs help too.
  • Mallory Ave & Union St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - West Side
Will delineator tubes be put to protect the daylighting crosswalks and bicycle lane? Cars continue to park within those painted areas that do not have the delineator tubes. Tubes were installed on Mallory, but only between Communipaw and Lexington Ave.
  • 310 10th St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtown
the placement of the stop bars (particularly Coles) are completely ineffective, causing traffic from all three directions to routinely roll through the stop bars and crosswalks before stopping, and then causing honking and yelling by both drivers and pedestrians (who are rightfully afraid of getting hit). this intersection needs to be re-imagined by a traffic engineer who understands how drivers actually behave, not how we wish they would behave.
