Ask a QuestionLa qiray29 Journal Sq Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - Journal Squarecan a concrete barrier be placed at Journal Sq to protect bikes scooters and pedestrian from taxis, cars and vans that are using the bike lane for parking. deliniators will not work in this busy intersection. something similar to what is in the attached photo. thanks

71 Bowers St Jersey City 07307, United States - The HeightsIn many intersections in the Heights four way stop signs have been put in place. (Picture is Bowers and Sherman). While that is helpful for pedestrian safety, I do hope you plan to add Stop to the pavement as a marking as right now many people who are not used to the four way stop signs are blowing through them . I was almost hit twice today. Please when the weather can accommodate it add Stop painter to asphalt so people are aware

7th St & Jersey Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
This is outrageous. The city should immediately be re-painting the stop lines and crosswalks after paving is complete. Certainly within 24 hours.
What is the reason for this delay? Is it day five already?
It was just over three months ago that a young boy was tragically killed a block from here.

310 10th St Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA - Downtownthe placement of the stop bars (particularly Coles) are completely ineffective, causing traffic from all three directions to routinely roll through the stop bars and crosswalks before stopping, and then causing honking and yelling by both drivers and pedestrians (who are rightfully afraid of getting hit). this intersection needs to be re-imagined by a traffic engineer who understands how drivers actually behave, not how we wish they would behave.

Ask a QuestionLa qirayMallory Ave & Union St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - West SideWill delineator tubes be put to protect the daylighting crosswalks and bicycle lane? Cars continue to park within those painted areas that do not have the delineator tubes. Tubes were installed on Mallory, but only between Communipaw and Lexington Ave.

161 Carlton Ave Jersey City 07306, United States - The HeightsCan we please remove parking at the end of this street…. It blocks the ability for those to turn right outside of the one line and creates more congestion

Christopher Columbus Dr & Monmouth St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - DowntownDelineation lines need to be painted in both lanes here way further back — “turn only” lane is not clear enough and causes constant traffic cutoffs. Please fix ASAP. More signs help too.

732 Montgomery St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07306 - McGinley SquareThis area requires a barrier to prevent parking (even if temporary) as parked cars in the spot create tighter lanes that hinder the flow of traffic. I was turning onto Bergen from Montgomery from the dedicated turn lane in the area and I was extremely concerned about damage to my vehicle because of the narrow traffic path created by illegally stalled/parked vehicles. Prevention would be as simple as planter or poles installed to prevent these actions.
