Major tripping hazard on sharp metal post in sidewalk Corner of Montgomery Street and Jersey Avenue
  • 43-67 Maple St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
I'm the third person to report this in 4-6 weeks, the bottom of a metal street sign is sticking out of the sidewalk on Maple St right by the rear of the Liberty State Park parking lot. I just saw an elderly (mid 60s) woman trip over this and take a hard fall onto her knees and wrists because of it. Fix it!!!

33 Hudson St Jersey City 07302, United States - The Waterfront
The construction site is causing significant issues for all of morris street.
Multiple pedestrian crossing lights have been shifted, so they are not visible from the other side of the street anymore. This applies to the one crossing south to north across morris at Hudson st, crossing Hudson st east to west onto morris and Sussex street). The light on the north-eastern corner of the construction is completely blocked by the construction site and invisible if you cross from the east!
Also, due to the significant reduction of the width of morris street and continuous parking in front of Krusty pizza, cars turning south onto Hudson out of morris street, have to go into the opposite lane. This causes a significant risk for cars turning into morris street as well and pedestrians.

Barrow St & York St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
A constituent requested that the signage placed at this intersection needs to be reviewed, as cars are speeding through stop signs nonstop. The constituent says that this concern led to a truck striking a young child last week.
  • 68 Monitor St Jersey City, NJ, 07304, USA - Bergen-Lafayette
On Maple Street, between Monitor and the liberty state park parking lot, there is a medium sized portion of the bottom of a steel street sign still in the sidewalk and it sticks out and presents a dangerous tripping hazard, particularly in the evening/night.
  • 291 Pavonia Ave Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
Someone put this up. Please take it down—then put a real sign, if needed.
  • 381 Newark Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
A driver jumped the curb yesterday morning and took out 2 trees and 2 signs. The sign stumps are particularly dangerous, can the signs be replaced? One was a "children crossing" sign, and the other was a "bike route" sign.
  • Marin Blvd & Wayne St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
This crosswalk could really use light up pedestrian signs, just like the sidewalk 100 feet south of it. This pedestrian crosswalk is especially dangerous because cars make the right turn bend coming north on Marin very fast, and don’t see the crosswalk until too late. Maybe the crosswalk lights could be linked so all four signs for the two crosswalks blink together, to give drivers driving north on Marin a warning that someone is crossing around the bend.
  • Brunswick St Jersey City NJ 07302, United States - Downtown
Can a "no turn on red" sign be installed at the traffic light? 80% of drivers ignore the existing sign in the right side of the roadway.almost got hit today!..
  • 60 Cottage St Jersey City NJ 07306, United States - Journal Square
This street sign is inside a tree pit and tied to a tree. If as a city, we care at all about our tree canopy we cannot put sign in tree pits, and we can certainly not be tying city owned infrastructure to a tree tree is going to be strangled
  • Chestnut Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - Journal Square
Request for new sign: Hello! Can we please have NO PARKING signs placed on this bridge? There are people parking on both sides on the bridge which turns the bridge into 1 lane street (it's a 2 way street). It is causing issues with cars trying to pass through. Thank you.
  • 78 Summit Ave Jersey City NJ 07304, United States - McGinley Square
Not sure if this is the right category but there are remnants of a sign pole sticking out of the sidewalk in front of parking lot entrance of 78 Summit Ave that was not properly removed It can be a tripping hazard or greatly harm someone if they fall on it Can this be fully removed or at least flattened to be level with the sidewalk ?
