  • 6th St & Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

Car parked illegally on bike path and crosswalk is blocked outside the little gym.

This is a recurring problem in this location

  • 255 Ocean Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07305 - Greenville
Cator/Ocean ave should have a traffic light . i've seen too many people not over the stop sign and there's a school right across the street . super dangerous. the light will also help with traffic and morning commute to keep kids walking to school safe
  • Christopher Columbus Dr & Marin Blvd Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown

Please consider adding in a left turn sequence for those traveling East on Columbus looking to turn onto Marin. This is the most difficult to make in downtown, primarily due to massive backup on Marin (worth considering that the lights on Marin should be green prior to this intersection to allow for further car fill).

Consider placing a traffic officer during rush hours (7:30am-9:30am + 4:30pm - 6:30pm) to direct traffic and issue tickets (will easily fund the officer's presence).

    Design is nothing without enforcement.

This intersection has consistent moving violations from reckless drivers, especially

  • 345 Ogden Ave Jersey City, New Jersey, 07307 - The Heights
I wanted to know on what date this sign for a handicapped parking space was installed, and why there is no painted curb or street to bring attention to it? I have lived on this street for 25 years, so I didn't notice it and I got a $250 ticket on 4/26 If the street or curb was painted I would have noticed, is that required?
  • 320 Fourth St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
STOP sign hidden behind street trees
  • 173–195 Steuben St Jersey City NJ 07302, United States - Downtown
How can this be a legal parking space? There is no room for a car to pass without going over the double yellow line. The parking signage needs to be adjusted and No Parking Anytime here to corner added with yellow curb paint.
  • 1st St & Manila Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
Drivers seem to be missing the stop sign recently at the corner of 1st and Manila headed east. I think it’s because it’s tucked behind the utility pole.
  • Montgomery St & Barrow St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - Downtown
large sign for the "no left turn between 7 -9 AM" because many people are not adhering to it. pedestrian safety issue, especially during the school year
  • 230 Culver Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07305, USA - West Side
The constituent was wondering if more signage can be installed directly across from our houses. They are requesting a "slow down" sign or more speed limit signs that can assist with the speeding concern in their neighborhood.
  • 75-81 Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ, 07306, USA - The Heights
    Tragic sign fell down
  • 140 Bowers St Jersey City NJ 07307, United States - The Heights

Last year a speed hump was built further down the block. This did slow some drivers. Unfortunately this has caused some drivers to behave in a particularly unsafe manner, speeding down the block to the speed bump, coming to a sudden stop before the speed bump and the slamming on the gas to accelerate to the end of the block. This can be extremely dangerous for residents parking on the street as the accelerating cars cannot stop quickly.

This is worst at rush hour when the maps route people through the neighborhood to avoid traffic on 495.

Every other block of bowers has two speed bumps except this one and that seems to break the block up into sections too short for drivers to feel they can speed up again. A second speed bump is needed here too.ib

Checking on when the speed humps will be replaced on Magnolia Avenue between Summit and Baldwin. we've been waiting years at this point and were told that we'd be first on the schedule this spring. thanks!
