I can only submit one photo, but the no parking signs here are for sewer work taking place this Monday through this Friday. The sign prohibits parking from 7am to 5pm, however at 5pm the construction company did not move their cones or their equipment, so the street parking is not available to residents. This is not the first time LanTree development’s contractors have done this, there have been many nights residents have not had a place to park despite what’s indicated on the signs, which are printed that way to make sure residents have overnight parking. When they do this they effectively close off the street. There is limited pedestrian access as well, since they left not only their equipment parked on the side of the road, but a pile of rubble on the sidewalk overnight, meaning they have to keep the sidewalk blocked overnight. This isn’t the first time and it’s time for there to be a summons and violation.

I have been living at 675 Montmouth St for over three years now. We have had an empty lot right across Monmouth from us and about a month ago construction of a new residential building has started. There is only one dead-end street that leads to the entrances of 675 Monmouth, its garage and the Ivy Daycare which as all in our building. Because of that, the traffic is already hectic. Since the construction on the lot across Mounouth has started, 1/3 of our only two way entracneway has been blocked off by the construction company and their project. The remainder of the street is taken up by construction crew's personal car parking, and large construction vehicles which carry anythign from cement to huge steele beams to the site. There is barely any room for residents and parents of the daycare to maneuver and get in and out of our ONLY garage entrace. Since the construction, I have vitnessed multiple instances where pedestriants were almost swiped by vehicles coming in and out of our street (there is lack of visibility because of all the traffic), i have been late to work because I had to wait for a long time trying to get out of the garage and the Daycare parents are having a difficult time finding places to leave their cars so they can drop off their children. The traffic of pedestriants (many children included) and construction vehicles is absolutely unsafe and this is a terrible accident waiting to happen. The construction company has two more entrances that they have created for themselves, which DO NOT hinder the short stretch of Montmouth St by the Enclave building and should be using those exits/entry points, but they are not. They also have a lot of space on their lot to park their personal cars, but they are not doing that either. I would like to raise this concern and send this message to all appropriate parties so the issues can be addresses asap and the residents of the nearby residential buildings can feel safe and less inconvenienced. Thank you.

With increasing bike traffic I feel like there's needs to be a dedicated lane on 6th Street. There's plenty of commuters and delivery drivers that need to access the mall and business offices in Newport. Around the 6th and Marin intersection I see issues on a regular basis.

Corner of plate put down by Jersey City a few years ago by curb cut at northwest side of crosswalk of Lincoln & Columbia is raised up causing a tripping hazard. Can it be replaced or secured please?

How would I go about looking into making Ferry street between Palisade and Ogden a pedestrian plaza. Im sure the chickens will appreciate it!

To piggyback on the long chain of “70 cottage st” chain, the road is very much closed on the weekend even though reported permits are for the week only
