City of Zephyrhills - Utilities – WasteWater PLUS

Sanitary sewer man hole has been gushing water since Thursday morning. Multiple calls and informed public workers Thursday morning. It smells like sewer water and is flooding everything around it. The smell is horrid. It’s made its way into my shed and is only getting higher.

The tenants at 38324 and 38326 A Avenue have been experiencing ongoing sewer line issues for the past three weeks. The city cleaned the line a week ago and opened multiple holes to investigate. They determined there was a blockage outside the property line and planned to return with additional equipment. While the issue seemed temporarily resolved, the problem has recurred, and the tenants have been unable to use the bathroom for the past week.

Today, 12/02/2024, I called the city for an update. They confirmed that a team will visit the area to investigate the issue affecting both properties.

Sewage discharge from manhole, city sewage back up into residence with raw sewage discharge into the house and streets.

Toilets not flushing, sewer water backed up to cleanouts

Pump station down - need backup generator - senior community where no one can use their bathrooms, bath, etc.

This is my neighbor’s house. This on the corner of 7 Ave and the alley between 4th St and 3rd St. You can see the water bubbling up.

I didn’t see anyone at the house.
