    I’m writing to report a loose manhole cover at 155 Lexington Street. It has shifted within the past day and now creates a loud knocking noise whenever vehicles pass over it. We get a fair amount of traffic up Lexington from Main Street toward Warren. The noise is highly disruptive, and the looseness may also pose a safety hazard.

    Whenever cars and especially trucks drive over the sewer cover on Belmont St at the corner of Hall Ave the sewer cover pops-up on an angle and slams down. This noise goes on all day and night making a very loud crashing sound. In fact, many of the sewer covers on Belmont Street aren't set flat on the black top and should be inspected and repaired.
