The new curb installed at the corner of Walnut and School St. has proven to create a complete traffic disaster at what was already a congested intersection. Too many cars block the only lane you have to turn into because they are waiting to go into the car wash or the traffic to turn left is backed up and preventing you from getting into the right hand lane.

Please remove the curb that blocks the lane of traffic and restore the two lanes.

I agree. More cars block the “do not block” area and it is hard to get into the right lane. Multiple cars will push off walnut st and usually block both lanes because the bump out makes it harder to take the right turn. Traffic is stopped much farther back on school st. I like a new tree, but people were less aggressive blocking and pushing into traffic before this bumpout was installed.

looks like the MWRA has packed up after completing the Bellevue Road paving. Are we to expect that the unfinished sidewalks are something we now have to live with?

A resident reported that on the corner of Bennett Rd and Chapman St—on the section of Bennett closest to Warren St—there is a patch of sidewalk that is currently just grass and needs paving. Since this route leads to Cunniff School, children and people with strollers are forced into the street at this point because the sidewalk is not paved.

Ongoing issue-- water runs out of a drainpipe near the side of house 162-164, into side yard (next to the driveway), onto public sidewalk, and then onto public street and into public storm drain. assuming this water comes from their sump pump. The sidewalk was soaked with a large puddle of water and wet leaves; slippery. In the winter, this water turns to ice! Please have this stopped.
