It’s not the catch basin not draining, it’s the whole sewage system not removing water fast enough. Water is actually coming out from the man hole cover.

We had the sewage pipes in our property snaked and a camera was sent down by a plumbing company. They let us know that there was standing water in the last section of pipes leading to the city pipes. They recommended that the city do a clear out of the sewage pipes in our area.

Sewer has been clogged for over a year. It floods when it rains. Let's please clear this before next winter when the puddles freeze

This happens every time there’s a rain storm. It’s been like this for years. So sick of it, do something about it, specially now that we have to leave missed waste pickup out for days.

I just got a flat tire hitting a pothole on Mt Auburn St going about 27 miles an hour. In the dark, with rain filling holes and traffic as it is, I didn't spot this one. Within seconds the low tire pressure light went on. I was just two blocks from home, and when I parked a moment later, the tire was flat. Drivers shouldn't have to spot and dodge tire-flattening potholes, and Mt Auburn Street has so many deep potholes it is simply unsafe. Mt Auburn Street is hazardous. Companies digging up the streets should be required to leave them in safe condition. I will try to get a picture of the pothole and its exact location during the day Friday.

We were surprised to see that the drain on Spruce St, closest to the southeast corner with Mt Auburn St, was paved over last week. It gets backed up at the best of times as the nearby drain on the south side of Mt Auburn St in front of our property next to the firebox is inadequate on its own, so we will expect considerable water runoff to run down our driveway and into our back stairwell the next time it rains (likely Oct 8). Please explain why the drain has been paved over, if it is temporary, and if so, when it us expected to be reopened. thank you.
