We have been reporting this for over two years now. It’s a mess and it’s a hazard that could potentially turn into a sinkhole. The town “fixed” it and made it worse three years ago. I will be contacting the city every week for the rest of the year until our street is replaced correctly. It hasn’t been paved in over 37 years.

I am a Watertown resident and tax payer, my name is Jhon Cuervo and I am writing to request the patching of a pothole in the intersection of William Street and Galen Street, I live at 164 Galen, and noise of heavy trucks out of Mass Pike when they hit the pothole is unbearable. Cars fly on Galen Street and it would be great if also the speed limit can be reduced.
I also would like to inquire if there are any plans to repave Common St. and White St. These roads are nothing but lousy patchings from works done and it does a number of the car's suspension.

As of 20Jun2025 the pothole measures approximately 26” and 30” at its widest points and 2-4” in varying depth. Pothole appears to be gradually increasing in size in a relatively short period of time, and poses harmful risks to cyclists as well as potential wheel damage to any vehicles traversing Grandview Ave.

Hole about 3-5 inches wide and about 12-15 inches deep.

Looks to be a pretty small opening at street level that opens up to a larger hole underneath. This hole is located on a patch job where the street was previously repaired etc.
