This is a very dangerous intersection for pedestrians. In order to get to the other side, pedestrians must cross 4 lanes of traffic, protected by nothing more than some paint on the ground. Nearly every time I try to cross this intersection as a pedestrian, drivers do not yield. And even when those in the near lanes yield, drivers in traveling in the other direction often do not, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road.

While these driver are at fault, the pedestrian infrastructure at this intersection is frankly insufficient. Look how far back the crosswalk starts on the side near Greenough Blvd. Pedestrians must step off the curb long before they are visible to drivers. This is exacerbated by the fact that drivers approaching from the Boston side of the river have a limited line of sight until they crest the hill of the bridge.

A curb extension and pedestrian-activated crossing lights would help make pedestrians at this crossing more visible to drivers. A pedestrian hybrid beacon would also be a possibility.

The sidewalk on Brigham at next to my house was damaged in the last rain. One hole is large enough to be a hazard to pedestrians. Also the curb is insufficient to direct water, which has eroded the verge, washed mud down my driveway, and buried part of the walk past my house.

This is a pathetic excuse for fixing a request that was put in for a section of sidewalk that needs to be replaced This sidewalk is less than two years old and someone dropped pavement on top of the lip, making it even more dangerous There is now gravel everywhere that is falling apart and making the sidewalk even more dangerous Let’s get this fixed properly

Turning right onto school st from walnut st, a new curb was built that juts out where previously the road was two lanes, changing the traffic pattern with no signage to indicate this. The curb is difficult to see. I blew out a tire and one of my colleagues did as well less than a week prior.

The wall seems to be falling and not safe for the pedestrian on the sidewalk.

The city completed the repair of the sidewalk edge by laying down large stones, adding loam and grass seed. When school opened, parents began jamming tires of their SUV's into the structure. This has exposed the stone, which will eventually loosen, and destroy the structure. To preserve the curb, could Watertown add a partial concrete curb.

16 Parker Street is requesting that the sidewalk curbing in front of the residence be replaced. Currently there is little to none curbing with a planting strip that fills with standing water.

Constituent reported that the sidewalk is cracked in front of 21 - 26 Hudson St. Can these cracks please be fixed?

Owner of 20 Parker Street is requesting that the sidewalk curbing be replaced in front of 20 Parker St. and resemble the newly installed curbing at 8-10 Parker St. Currently there is little to none curbing with a planting strip that fills with standing water.
