1063-1199 Belmont St Watertown Town, MA, 02472, USA - WatertownPedestrian walkway light being ignored by commuters
Very tough to safely cross, drivers going too fast and ignore the traffic signal and crosswalk
There should be signs or something before the curve near Webster/Brookline streets alerting traffic to crosswalk and signs between Holt st and Sycamore street alerting to pedestrians and to slow down -

School St & Walnut St Watertown Town, MA, 02472, USA - Watertown
Please Add PERMANENT markings at a driver's eye level to indicate the bumped out curb. A couple wooden stakes with orange tags is woefully insufficient given the danger this curb presents.
Today, I witnessed yet another vehicle run into the newly raised and newly bumped out (into the right turn lane of traffic) curb at the corner of School and Walnut St. Especially at night or in grey, rainy conditions, the curb is practically invisible and cars moving into the right turn lane are not expecting a curb to be there. Today an electric scooter rider hit the curb at speed and was thrown unto the sidewalk--lucky he didn't break anything--and his scooter fell into traffic. If a car had been immediately behind him, it would have run over the scooter; as it was the scooter's tire was damaged (and it looked like the steering for the scooter as well).
This bump out MUST have marking at a driver's eye level or someone will be seriously injured or killed at this intersection. Since DPW's "improvement," at least once each week I see a bicyclist thrown and their bike damaged, multiple cars crash over the curb with tires blown out. Given I only pass this corner 2 times a day M-F, it boggles the mind how many more accidents occur that I do not witness. It seems unbelievable that DPW could find a way to make this intersection even MORE dangerous than it already was--and at what must have cost a small fortune!

Orchard St & Carroll St Watertown, Massachusetts, 02472 - WatertownThe strong winds blew the detour sign off the pole at the corner of Orchard St and Carroll St. This is for the MWRA work on Common St.
-
Maplewood St & School St Watertown Town, MA, 02472, USA - WatertownGlad there is a 4 way stop after horrible accident a few months ago, but I’ve seen multiple people blow through stop (not in picture), in part probably due to tree branches that block the stop sign from beinf seen from coming up School Street heading to Belmont.

113–137 School St Watertown MA 02472, United States - WatertownThe tall shrubs/plants along the curb (next to the sunflowers) on School Street here completely block visibility when turning left onto School St from Boylston Street. If they could be trimmed down it would a much safer turn onto a busy street.
