For over a year we’ve had a lot of issues that have not been fixed or addressed. I have gone down to the office on multiple occasions and expressed my concerns. We have had black mold and we complained about it continuously for months and when they finally came in to fix it, all they did was wipe over it and painted. We have had water damage for over a year and we did have code enforcement come in and all of these issues are now worse because we now have no walls. They keep telling us that they will be fixed, but it is in violation because the studs are showing, and there are nails that are coming through because my younger child was hurt several times. They put us up for eviction three days ago. I asked them before I paid my rent which is almost $2500 monthly. I also had asked them if I could have something in writing that these things would be fixed before I paid my rent and I was told no. Like I said, this has been going on for over a year and like I said, I was having no walls that has been since early November.

Complaint against Mr. Randall Martel Timeline of Events

September 7, 2022 – Mr. Nick Ekonomou executed a contract with licensed general contractor Randy Martel of Randall L. Martel General Contractor, LLC and his contractor Jaco Briones Pinto Sampaio (AKA Jaco Briones) of Sky Home Solutions, LLC.

September 12, 2022 – A $25,000 down payment Flagship bank cashier’s check was issued to Sky Home Solutions and it was subsequently deposited into the bank account of Sky Home Solutions.

February 2023 – 5 months after the contract was signed. After doing approximately $4,000 of work, the job was abandoned. The wooden trusses that I purchased for the project, at the request of the contractor, were left uncovered on site and have sustained water and mold damage. My pleas to both Mr.
Martel and Mr. Briones via emails and voicemails for them to resume work have been ignored.

It has recently come to my attention that Jaco Briones Pinto Sampaio (AKA Jaco
Briones) of Sky Home Solutions, LLC. obtained more than $55,000 in accounts receivable financing by using my contract for this project as collateral/basis to obtain said cash advance, although he had abandoned this project, and he knew there are no receivables for anybody to collect from this project. See attached accounts receivable financing collections letter from Park Avenue
    Recovery.

There is continuously people at this apartment outside doing drugs, lighting items on fire in parking lot causing fire department to show up, and other disorderly conduct. Not sure who to report this to but I've had a lady from this building bang on my door (I live in building next door) along with multiple other of my neighbors at 6 in the morning demanding to use my phone and calling me foul names when I said no. They're have been several people in my next door unit who have complained about the behavior.

There is a company called Clyde, Johnson, contracting and roofing living or running a business out of the new Haven clubhouse. They are located in Clewiston Florida. Their license number is CGC1523179 and CC 133-1431 they have been here for over a year. I would appreciate if someone would go there and check out what they are doing. We believe they are running a business out of the clubhouse. There is a traffic problem on our road with their trucks using it daily. We can’t even walk our dogs

Our apartment complex, Lake Maggiore Apartments, has changed the terms of all the residents lease without consent. They are enforcing an unfair policy where there can only be one car per apartment, meaning families, married couples, and roommates are limited to one car. They recommended to residents that we park downtown and walk, park in the street, or sell our cars. I literally have nowhere to keep my car at the complex I pay rent at. The lease we signed said we could each park our cars. In addition to this, the fire alarm in our building is faulty. It goes off in the middle of the night regularly. This has been going on for months now. In addition to the concerns I have over the safety and efficacy of our fire alarm, none of us are sleeping. The apartment complex is placing under undue duress and hardship, with no recourse. I want them to abide by the terms of the lease agreement we signed, and I want them to fix the fire alarm for the safety of all residents.

The lighting in our hallway has been out for over a week despite multiple requests for repairs. The lack of lighting has created unsafe conditions, leaving all three floors in complete darkness. I personally experienced difficulty navigating the stairs and nearly fell, and I am particularly concerned for residents with young children who are also at risk. This is a serious safety hazard, and I urge immediate action to resolve this matter.

house listed for sale says new plumbing in 2021 and new electrical in 2022 and I contacted the real estate agent listing this and asked some questions including about this becaue there are no permits shown as pulled on this property according to the pinellas county tax appraisers website since 1997 and was told by the real estate agent that "the owner was a contractor and had good help" so I looked up the owners name and he is not a general contractor according to the state of florida and I brought this permitting issue to the attention of the realtor Kathleen Williams of Roe Realty and she said in a text message that if this (legal permitting for electrical and plumbing) was a deal breaker then "maybe this not the property for me" and I have all the text messages to prove this. So this is both a bad real estate listing with a scam/ false information to an unsuspecting homebuyer but also the real estate agent is lying to people when they ask about it saying the permit isnt needed because the owner is a contractor which he is not and that's also not true as permits for "new" electrical and plumbing are required.

On Thur, 9/11, this Speedway charged $3.97 per gal of regular while every other gas station on my way home (heading North to the 49th St. N exit) were a dollar cheaper. While this is a $14.50 lesson for me, it isn't right that they charge so much more than other, local stations.
  • Stpetersburg Housing Au - St. Petersburg

I am filing a complaint against the St. Petersburg Housing Authority located at 1016 24th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712.

I was a tenant there until June 2024. They have held my security deposit for over a year without proper justification. When I recently sent a demand letter, they retaliated by inventing fraudulent charges in bad faith. They did not send any written notice of damages or deductions within the 30-day legal limit under Florida Statute § 83.49.

Their refusal to return my deposit and the retaliatory response may violate my rights.I am requesting an investigation into their handling of my deposit and treatment as a former tenant.
