Back alley is full of branches from duke energy

Sidewalk is a trip Hazzard and Needs repair. City owned?

Millings in alley way have washed away, only dirt & sand left. Due to the accidents and heavy traffic, the residents between 44th and 45th street are parking in the alley, which causes even more dirt & dust. Residents are resorting to having to wet down the alley to keep the dust down, using city water to do so, and costing them more than the usual water utilities usage.

The builders of this house dug a large hole on the edge of the alley and now a deep depression has developed and is worse today than yesterday as we had a lot of rain last night.

On July 8, 2024 I requested the alley to be paved with asphalt since the our garages are filthy dirty daily from the dust we carry in when we park our cars. The rest of the neighborhood is paved with either asphalt or brick. It has been nearly 1 year and I received a response on May 8, 2024 that the crew restored the alley and the case was closed. The Previous Case ID is 16999542. Clearly you will see from the before and after images that the alley looks exactly the same. I also attached my request from last year andresponsee from SPTO Pavement closing the case::

Again, we are paying the same taxes as the rest of the neighborhood with paved alleys but live with dirt in our block. Please address this issue as I do not expect a second year to pass by without resolution.

The Sally surface repair was reported completed May 25. There has been NO SUCH REPAIR or resurfacing done and now you can see more degradation of the alley.

I put in a request over a year ago to have the alley resurfaced and re-pitched properly. I met with the department manager on site and he said it was slated to occur in December. The water from both alleys are collecting at the end and dumping in to the storm drain at our dental office. Our driveway is lifting as a result. I am going to ask the city to pay for the correction of our driveway due to improper pitch and damage to our driveway. Our neighbors driveway is also caving in due to recent repairs due to the sewer. The alley is back to the way it was after placing the millings. It collects too much water and is dumping it on our property causing extensive adn expensive water damage.
