Huge hole full of water behind house. Alley is pitching water into lawns, flooding backyards rather than sloping toward center of alley to drain water. Was told by Bob Taylor last year, just before Irene, that the alley was approved to be rebuilt. Flag markers were placed in alley, areas spray painted and Nothing happened. DO NOT DUMP MORE DIRT AND KEEP ADDING TO FLOODING ISSUE!!!

There is a large pothole in the alley behind my house. I live on 22nd Ave., the alley is between 22nd and 23rd Ave. and 16th and 17th St., North. The pothole has been growing for about a year and a half, and is now approximately 1’ x 3’ at a depth of 5 inches

Request City to come out and resurface washed out alley. It is apparent that alley at one time was paved but over the past few years, City only adds gravel which eventually washes away.

These alleys have received no attention since my last report. I would like to know that progress is being made and have yet to see any work happening anywhere in our area.

The 1400 block between 28th and 29th Street S. Is what I am referring to, but I have seen multiple reports for replacement of other alleys in this area. As someone else had said, we pay taxes just like everyone else in this county and city. Please respond. The weather has been on par for construction with very little rainfall, so the only issue we have is receiving direct response from the city.

No movement has happened on this request so I am submitting again with a new photo. There is a terrible flooding issue with the alleyway between 42nd Ave NE & 43rd Ave NE. The blading/grading is HORRIBLE. This photo is ONE time of my neighbor watering his darn lawn. This makes a HUGE mess. As you can imagine the mess when it rains during the Summer. This is a big concern for west nile virus and other stagnant water disease. We pay taxes for this stuff so can this please be fixed!!

    impassable
  • 301 33rd Ave Ne Saint Petersburg, FL, 33704, USA - North East Park Neighborhood Association
The alley behind my house which is between 33rd and 34th Ave NE and bounded by Oak and Locust has deteriorated greatly with garbage truck and sewer trucks in and out. In the past the city has spread gravel down to fill in the deep ruts and pot holes but nothing has been done for several years and the alley is getting worse. There are bad potholes at both entrances on Locust and Oak. The deep ruts hold water when it rains. I emailed the mayor's hotline several months ago and got no reply.
