Resident reported that potholes are presenting in the unpaved alley behind the address noted. They requested alley condition review and maintenance. Would like to see if the alley could be something other than dirt.

Between erosion and large utility trucks doing work, it has become a little rough and muddy.
A couple of neighbors have brought in their own crushed shells or aggregate to reduce the mud in front of their properties. But the other parts of the alley are now low spots and dirt.
Is it possible to request that the alley be graded for proper runoff and a consistent aggregate or crushed shell be applied? If not this way, is there a better way to make the request?

A significant depression has formed in the alley behind my home, near the corner entrance. Vehicles are frequently striking the uneven surface while passing through. The issue emerged following pipe work conducted in the area. I kindly request an inspection to assess and address the problem.

On July 8, 2024 I requested the alley to be paved with asphalt since the our garages are filthy dirty daily from the dust we carry in when we park our cars. The rest of the neighborhood is paved with either asphalt or brick. It has been nearly 1 year and I received a response on May 8, 2024 that the crew restored the alley and the case was closed. The Previous Case ID is 16999542. Clearly you will see from the before and after images that the alley looks exactly the same. I also attached my request from last year andresponsee from SPTO Pavement closing the case::
    Crew restored alley 350 fee

Again, we are paying the same taxes as the rest of the neighborhood with paved alleys but live with dirt in our block. Please address this issue as I do not expect a second year to pass by without resolution.

    Thank you

There is no way this repair is complete from water not draining from the newly paved alley. Will this be fixed? Wow 🤦

The alley between 15th Ave south and Newton Ave south, bounded by 7th street and 8th street needs to be graded and should be paved. After the last rain a large amount of millings and particulate washed down the alley(this alley has a downward grade from 8th to 7th street) and large amount has landed in a mound behind 745 15th. This mound has diverted water on the backyard of 745 and flooded the low backyard area. Further down the alley where the alley ends at 7th street, particulate and millings have filled the entryway with a thick layer of dirt and millings making my wheelchair access difficult. In addition the cement garage apron on the alley behind 755 15th Ave is again being undercut by rain. This alley because of the grade should be paved but as a stop gap in the meantime it should be graded to reduce the flooding of 745 15th. My pictures are not showing this very good but physical inspection should make it clear. Thank you.

Cruise came out to patch a spot in the alley, but didn’t take the patch to the edge of the alley instead, they stopped the patch with a definite buildup, which is going to grab the tire of cars driving down the alley. It’s also going to force runoff into people‘s driveways.
