City of St. Petersburg PLUS

I live across from the Debris Management Site in the old Raytheon lot. All of the mulching that is taking place is making all the mulch dust airborne. I can see and feel the mulch dust in the air and it makes it hard to breath and also gets stuck in eyes. The smell of the mulch is also very strong.

The dirt and mulch dust is staining my pool pavers, vinyl fence, bottom of pool, staining the white frames of my windows, etc. It is a huge mess and I am having to spray my fence, pool pavers, windows, etc everyday to try and keep them clean - my water bill is going to astronomical because of this.

I understand we went through two hurricanes and and have a lot of debris to mulch - but it's been going non-stop for almost 3 to 4 weeks and it's not fair for everyone that lives around the debris site to have to deal all of the mulch dust in the air and have it ruin our property. I am very grateful I have a habitable house after the hurricanes - but constant mulching and airborne mulch dust is causing significant staining damage to my property and I'm sure to all houses around the debris site.

I hope the city has a plan to remedy this issue.

Alley is very overgrown with weeds, broken glass and a mangled recycling bin. The alley has deep ruts and would benefit from cleaning up and ideally paving.

This ally is the only access the City has given every one living on 38th Avenue north between 20th and 21st street. City put up fence in front of our house but refuses to maintain the ally.

ALLEY (potholes) – UNPAVED
Resident reported that potholes are presenting in the unpaved alley behind the address noted. They requested alley condition review and maintenance.

Just need to advise of a hole that opened up in my alley to my garage. There are actually a few today down the entire alley.

The alley between 17th Ave NE and 18th Ave NE, and between Oak St and Locust St is in desperate need of repaving. It was repaved with gravel around 5 years ago and most of it disintegrated to dirt after two years. We are left with dirt and weeds. We are having to remove the dust in the garage daily after going in or out with a car. Most alleys in our neighborhood are beautifully paved with asphalt or brick. How can we be paying the same taxes as our neighbors with paved alleys yet our alley is a complete mess? Please fix this issue using asphalt instead of gravel to give it longevity.

Grass entrance into alley has two really large potholes before turning behind houses. Alley entrance is next to property locations.

Someone has dumped rock and shell in about 25% of the ally pervented the proper drainage from peoples properties. This is new within the last week

Flooding in alley is running into mine and neighbors backyard. Standing water for days at a time.

Alley in front of bear creek elementary between 5th and 4th street south. Overgrown weeds, excess dirt, and has pot holes in the alley. Can we please get asphalt / milling put back there? It is a huge dust bowl that is used regularly by drivers. Thank you!
