City of St. Petersburg PLUS

I live across from the Debris Management Site in the old Raytheon lot. All of the mulching that is taking place is making all the mulch dust airborne. I can see and feel the mulch dust in the air and it makes it hard to breath and also gets stuck in eyes. The smell of the mulch is also very strong.

The dirt and mulch dust is staining my pool pavers, vinyl fence, bottom of pool, staining the white frames of my windows, etc. It is a huge mess and I am having to spray my fence, pool pavers, windows, etc everyday to try and keep them clean - my water bill is going to astronomical because of this.

I understand we went through two hurricanes and and have a lot of debris to mulch - but it's been going non-stop for almost 3 to 4 weeks and it's not fair for everyone that lives around the debris site to have to deal all of the mulch dust in the air and have it ruin our property. I am very grateful I have a habitable house after the hurricanes - but constant mulching and airborne mulch dust is causing significant staining damage to my property and I'm sure to all houses around the debris site.

I hope the city has a plan to remedy this issue.

There's about 100 of these potholes on our road again 50th ave S. It is not about three blocks long from 30th street to 28th street. No idea why it is such a big deal to get this small road paved and end the ordeal of us having to point this out every few months..

This ally is the only access the City has given every one living on 38th Avenue north between 20th and 21st street. City put up fence in front of our house but refuses to maintain the ally.

Alley is very overgrown with weeds, broken glass and a mangled recycling bin. The alley has deep ruts and would benefit from cleaning up and ideally paving.

Construction workers from 2545 4th Avenue N have dumped all of the excavated dirt from the site into the alley way making it almost impassable.

ALLEY (potholes) – UNPAVED
Resident reported that potholes are presenting in the unpaved alley behind the address noted. They requested alley condition review and maintenance.

The alley behind 14th Ave., North, and 15th Ave., North between Highland St., North and 8th St., North has big huge deep ruts that are damaging our cars. This happens every year because it is on a hill.

It is becoming difficult to drive our Toyota Camry through our alley way. The tire tracks have worn down the dirt road so much that our car is beginning to scrape along the center of the track. There are pot holes where the crews have to dig out the manhole covers to access the sewer system, and they fill with water that becomes stagnant when it rains. Most of our block parks their vehicles in their alley accessible driveways and they are constantly covered in dust and dirt.
