    email: A large hole has opened in the pavement in the public alley immediately behind 7000 Dartmouth Avenue North, St. Petersburg.

    The size of the hole, which has just opened, is 16" wide by 20" long by 10" deep.
    The earth is also washed away from under the west edge of the hole so that the pavement will further collapse as cars drive over it. I expect it will widen to 24" x 24" very quickly.

    Due to sewer line and storm drain repairs currently underway, access to the south end of the alley is blocked. All vehicles parking in the alley and trash removal trucks now transit the area of the hole coming and going, effectively doubling traffic over the damaged area.

    If not repaired promptly, the entire alley will become impassable for trash removal, parking, and access to homeowner garages.

    There is a growing pothole in the alley behind my house that is getting worse, and after the storm it’s especially deep now. It is right next to the sewer cover so I’m worried it is collapsing on the sewer line. We stepped in it and the ground is soft. Please come have a look before our sewer collapses. Thank you!

    During Helene and Milton, sewage overflow from the manhole in my backyard could not drain back into the system. The manhole is higher than my yard. All of my grass has died and there is a horrible smell coming from my backyard and it caused an accumulation of water/sewage in my back yard. I need to have a drainage port attached to the manhole to allow for drainage once the flooding is over.

    Private irrigation system is leaking resulting in flooding and street damage. The irrigation system installed at Marina Walk Apartments has been leaking since it was installed. It has caused damage to the street which the city has repaired multiple times. Until the irrigation system is repaired, the street will continue to be damaged.
