City of St. Petersburg PLUS

The alley behind my property is currently a dirt road that’s in very poor conditions. It’s uneven, filled with potholes, and becomes muddy and difficult to navigate when it rains. The lack of proper pavement creates drainage issues, kicks up dust, and poses a hazard for both vehicles and pedestrians. Given that it’s 2025 and we’re in an urban area like St.Petersburg, it’s surprising and disappointing that this ally remains unpave. I’m requesting that the city takes action to grade, repair, and pave this ally to meet basic infrastructure standards and ensure safe, clean access for residents.

I have been requesting for over a year to get this alley cleaned up! The City came out and confirmed it’s extremely bad with dips, big items from people not living here driving through…I was told it was getting done and NO ONE showed that day. My elderly neighbor no longer can take their own trash to the dumpster because it’s so uneven and unsafe.

Pothole reported 2 weeks ago was filled in last week but was not properly graded. Significant pooling of water is occurring and will flood my studio in a hard rain. It may be that you have not completed the job and intend to come back. In any case I wanted to make you aware of this. Thank you.

The alley is a hazard The ruts from storms and the garbage trucks make it hazardous to walk to garbage cans It floods during rain events and we have millings in our streets and storm drains The lack of quality grading is affecting personal driveways The city needs to properly address this - residents shouldn't have to submit work orders several times a year to have a functioning alley that drains appropriately

This is a 2nd request for alley behind 226 Palm Ln N to be graded as water is pooling at the end of our driveway and other spots in the alley. The pic is after a short 5 minute rainfall on 12/2/25.

Alley between 15th Ave N and 16th Ave N (btn 11th and 12th streets) is uneven and causing a lot of sand to build up. Other alleys in the area are all paved or otherwise flattened and maintained. Please assess and repair (ideally by paving the alley.)

Alley is completely destroyed from Chick-Fil-A traffic. We have to carry
Wheel and tire protection on all of our cars. Bought a roofing magnet just to pick up all the screws and nails. The alley is so eroded that I scraped my rim on the edge of the driveway that now is exposed about 3”. Alley needs to be paved with speed bumps. I pay 8k a year in property taxes!!!

Resident reported that potholes are presenting in the unpaved alley behind address noted. They requested alley condition review and maintenance

Water continues to pool at the intersection of 5th street N and the alley between 26th and 27th Ave N Water is almost always standing causing heavy mosquito breeding Alley needs to be regraded so that water after rain will flow to the gutters Also curb need to be reported to direct water to drains
