This alley is dangerous! The loose gravel and in some places 1 inch of sand make riding bikes thru this alley dangerous. Even walking my bike is difficult with the loose gravel. Elderly neighbors have a difficult time lifting the trash can lids and disposing of their trash because the loose gravel creates an unsteady surface. Please pave Asap before someone gets hurt!

This request is in response to recently closed request #19267997. The crew that came out did not address the problem at all. And, if I'm honest, the response to these requests has been underwhelming at best and negligent at worst; the problem has taken so long to resolve, more damage has been done. As you can see from the included photos, there is still as much as a 10-11 inch difference between the center of the alley surface and the side that intersects our driveway apron. What is needed here is a re-leveling of the alley surface from side to side. And since the problem area is on a grade and previous sand/gravel repairs have failed before, paving at least the zone that slopes from the alley to the brick street with asphalt may be a longer lasting option. Furthermore, it appears the crew *added* sand and gravel to the end of the alley, which I requested to be removed, because 1) the sediment is so thick there, it cannot be addressed by the street sweepers (they've tried), 2) grass and weeds grow in it *on the street,* 3) it can be a traction issue for vehicles, and 4) during heavy rains that stuff likely ends up in storm drains which are for water and not sediment. Please send a competent crew out to re-level the alley and *remove* the sediment at the end of the alley that is covering the brick street. Thank you.

The dirt alley needs to to be resurfaced to fill the many pot holes and level out the grade of the alley before the rains start. The alley floods and has standing water entering the driveways into the homes of this location. This has always been a problem for many years. Thank you, Fred Ryder

Alley is still shows standing water for significant amount of time after rain storm. First photo is the standing water. 2nd photo is the rest of the alley after rain stopped and significant amount of time has passed. Please regrade so we don't have standing water and home for mosquitoes. Thank you.
