New gravel has been laid down at least twice this year Clearly this is not an adequate or practical solution EVERY time it rains the alley is washed out Please fix this problem On 52nd street between 12th and 13th Ave gravel washed out from the alleys it piled up in the street This is NOT SAFE!!! I can't pull into or out of my driveway without have to back up and forward multiple times to avoid driving into this pit It appears at one point the alley was paved but since they has been recover with a bunch of cheap fixes Repave the alley and stop dropping gravel!!!

I have opened perhaps 6-8 clickfixes since we purchased our house 10 years ago. I've noticed a trend which I think should be addressed by the city of St. Pete, that is, tickets are closed by mistake or with no repairs completed. The latest example is the alley repair clickfix I opened just today which is the same issue I reported last October 2023. The first one was closed by mistake and I called the city and they reopened it with a new number. The second clickfix for the same issue was closed based on the alley being resurfaced but the repair wasn't made to the section reported. I now have a third clickfix open. I have had similar experiences with clickfixes in the past. I don't imagine I'm the only person this happens to. Maybe an audit of the process needs to be done by the city. It seems there might be internal pressures within the city to close clickfixes as quickly as possible. It also would be better for someone to inspect the work before closing a ticket because in this case, it would have been obvious the work was not completed. Better yet, it would be great if a notice was sent to the originator of the request to confirm the clickfix was resolved. If the Disston Heights Civic Association is monitoring these tickets, perhaps tracking them to see if this is a consistent issue might be worthwhile.

The alley between 7th and 9th Ave immediately west of Dartmoor St N is littered with potholes and large dropoffs from the bricks to the dirt alley cause bone jarring shocks when pulling into the alley. A brick alley is long overdue.
