City of St. Petersburg PLUS

Brooke called to report severe flooding and would like someone to come out and check the storm water drains to see if they are clogged. Please investigate.

The gutters on the bridge have so much debris the road can't drain correctly If we get a hard rain it will overflow and continue to wash out the bridge

Several trees growing out of drain, impedes drainage.

The drain is so cluttered with debris that the water has no where to go, flooding the street at the corner of 24th Ave N and 16th St.

The barricades that were placed by the city in our yard (and the street) due to multiple sink holes, are now missing after last night’s flooding. I’m unsure if they fell in or got washed away. These holes are only getting larger and someone can get seriously injured if actions aren’t taken.

Drain grate clogged up

Pinewood Co-op has issues with water drainage - new development at 10544 Poplar St NE - Pinewood rep states that an artificial berm was put in place when construction was happening. City never retrieved the berm & it is impeding water flow for the neighborhood.

The corner of Massachusetts and Chancellor has two drains/sewers that are severely blocked by tree debris. We are often one of the first streets to fill up and last to drain. This is a main intersection in this neighborhood near LCC, The Islander and the Nursing home. If the Stormwater team can come clear out these drains I think that would be tremendously helpful to many residents picking up children and commuting home.

2 storm drains in front of each big tree do not drain well. We cannot drive through it because water has come into our vehicle before. Has been repeatedly reported and called about.

Significant drainage issues with last several storms. Only other time we had this issue was during Idalyia.

Citizen called stated we cleaned out the stormdrain before the last rains and he thinks it caused holes in the drains because he states there are holes in his yard and his sea wall is now leaning
