Alley needs to be resurfaced and leveled badly. It hasn't been done in several months since close to end of last summer. Several ruts, holes and uneven surface which is becoming dangerous and could potentially cause auto repairs.

This is a request that the City evaluate our rear alleyway for re-milling and surface repair due to recurring sand and sediment accumulation that is now impacting safe and practical access to our property.

The alley surface has deteriorated and collects a significant amount of sand/silt after rain events. This buildup is creating ruts and soft areas that make it difficult for vehicles to traverse without scraping or getting almost stuck when its muddy. This is especially problematic for lower-clearance vehicles, and it has become increasingly difficult for us and visitors to access our garage from the alley.

Our garage entrance is accessed from this alley, and we do not have a practical alternative. The front street is frequently congested with parked vehicles, which restricts access and also interferes with use of the mailbox area. As a result, reliable access from the alley is critical for our day-to-day use of the property.

I have attached photos showing the current conditions, including the standing water and sediment buildup. Please note that the alley appears to have been milled in the past (milling can still be observed in portions of the alleyway), but the surface has deteriorated significantly over time.

Please let me know the next steps for requesting an inspection and whether this location can be scheduled for re-milling or other corrective maintenance. If helpful, I am available to meet a field inspector on-site or provide any additional information needed.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hi. We have had a lot of rain, construction, etc. in our little block. We have pot holes and now pour drainage in the alley and close to where I do not want to use my garage. Please assess and grate as soon as possible. Thank you, Shannon Fortner
