City of Hammond PLUS

Not damaged or broken, city just installed new ones last week. We had a small puddle here before, but this is huge and still there an hour after the rain. There is a storm sewer just to the left of the photo. Being right at the corner of Burton Ct and Blossom Row this could potentially cause ice problems this winter too.

Some pump water is being pumped out into the alley then it puddles up on my property sub pump waters supposed to be pumped into the yard of the property that it comes from pumped out onto the neighbors property. We asked the neighbors to do something about this politely years ago then the water that came out frozen into a big patch and my mom fell taking out the garbage that was the last straw. This has been going on for years. Please get this handled. Water does not drain for days or weeks after any rain. There is no inlet on this block.

Every rain this happens Something must be done for sewer drain

How do we get this puddling fixed? Can a curb or drain be added in this location? Water fills up and covers almost all of Tapper and the alleyway as well.

It'd be cool if we had a French drain

This water forces westbound traffic into the eastbound lanes.
It has been going on for years. Can this get on a list to be fixed please.

We have this water issue every time it rains sometimes it's worse than the attached picture.
