City of Hammond PLUS

You can't really call it a pothole when it's really this whole section of street. both directions from Indianapolis Boulevard to 162nd the entire street looks and feels like the country dirt road perhaps maybe you could repaveits. I try to avoid it at all cost. But when I'm in my semi and have to drive it to go into locatio it's awful! ........

Both sides of the street closest to curb are crumbling away in large chunks from here down toward Baltimore.

the curb at this address is all broken up and there are pot holes getting bigger at the end of the driveway, thanks

The Neighbors on Van Buren were wondering if we could get a four-way stop sign at Van Buren and 174th. there are so many kids playing it would be a great idea. thank you

Constant car accidents happen in this corner with the latest being a car crashing into the corner apartment on hohman. Can the city install stop signs on hohman ave to reduce the risk of accidents occurring??

This intersection is very busy. It where atleast 1 school Hammond Central drops off kids via the bus every morning and afternoon. It is also a bike trail that is used for bikers and walkers. Also it's future train stop for South Shore. This intersection needs flashing signals and/or multiple warning signs to indicate it’s a trail and walkers present etc., children present etc

This 4 way stop is extremely dangerous for the kids coming and going to school l. Multiple times cars have disregarded the stop sign or just went through it. is there any way we can get flashing lights or bigger stop signs to help make this intersection more safe for the kids going to school. Crossing guard is doing a great job but constantly had to step in front of drivers disregarding stop signs. someone is going to get hurt here can't something be done please.

Stop sign needs to be moved west of newly located bike path

An observation at the Marina District. On more than one occasion while waiting to turn left I've had cars come from the right lane and turn in front of me. Potential to be dangerous. Would it be possible to have a straight and right turn arrow painted on the street? To be clear, it's Roby by the ATT store.

Spoke to 2nd district councilman in April about putting a stop signs up like on 149th street since people speed down here all the time. Disabled eloping children live here, and it can be a liability. He said he would request traffic engineers to come but haven't heard or seen anything since.
