What used to be a pond has turned into what we like to call Lake Pine. I think this lake is causing erosion in my yard. All this water has to go somewhere and the way my ground is sinking I think this is the culprit! Someone pls help!

This alley floods during every rainstorm and continues to sit until it evaporates. Any chance a new drain can be added along it to minimize the constant floods? It’s difficult to bring trash to garbage cans when water collects in low points where drainage is not available for water to exit.

This picture is taken several hours after a heavy rain today. It is great that the alley has been paved. However, the sewer drains are uphill from this location. We have a lake in the alley every time it rains. Can the city engineers take a closer look to see how we can re-grade the alley so the water drains to the street sewers instead of behind our garages?

large puddle forms behind my the garage. In the winter this forms into a large sheet of ice making it difficult to pull in or back out.

Water in Alley not properly draining towards the sewer. The alley is paved too high behind these houses and water fails to drain resulting in constant flooding during periods of rain. Please investigate

Can anything be done about this? There is a grassy area between the garages on Kenwood and Janet Place that floods when we have a lot of rain. It has gradually gotten worse over the years and sometimes the water is almost up to my garage door.

due to lots of rain, lots of standing water in alley & there is an odor and water will be a breeding ground for mosquitoes. what is being done to allow water to drain into sewer?

TLDR: Can someone help with water that's running from the City alley on to my property, causing damage?

For the past 17 years, water in the alley has been running and collecting around my garage and patio. Over the years, it's caused water rot one of the corners of the garage frame - causing a little damage the pain, siding. When it rains hard, it completely saturates the backyard - and runs over our patio, down our sidewalk (which we already replaced once) and into the front storm drain!

Keep in mind - our house is such an elevation that it does not require a sump pump.

We tried sandbagging, drylok paint, shop vac, rocks, even a giant squeegee to push the water back into the alley...and just chalked it up to one of bad things about the house. We thought about getting a dry well installed.

However...last summer, we watched as the City installed a Dry Well on the south end of the alley for someone who was having a similar problem.

Is this something that you can fix?!

    Thanks.

Can someone please take a look at the alley behind our house. There is no drains back there and this happens all year round. It floods and floods my driveway in the back. The businesses have their drain spouts going into the alley with no drain. They put drains farther down the block in the alley but not here. I have reported this before but nothing was done. I really would appreciate someone taking a look at this to see if a drain can be put in the alley. Or if anything else could be done. Thank you!
