Hammond Truck Parking is drawing all the semis down Michigan St. from Calumet to Indy. I spoke with a HPD officer today about the trucks (he said he ticketed 3 so far today) and I mentioned this business but he said they can't do anything because it's in EC. This is incorrect. The south side of Michigan to the east of the curve is in Hammond. You can tell by the signage. (Michigan is Hammond, Carrol is EC.) How is this nuisance business operating in the city on a non-truck route?

Most days, especially weekends, this house runs a car repair business. There will be upwards of 6 extra cars parked on our short block that rotate through their driveway, get jacked up, and worked on 1 to 2 hours each. You'll even see "customers" standing on the sidewalk, waiting and watching, after they've pulled their vehicle up.

Both neighbors still selling different cars every weekend when the code enforments officers are off.

This has expired plates and has been sitting here for a year. It blocks the traffic when pulling out of the alley and has a flat tire. u

This is second documentation of our renter neighbor, Chris, who lives at 20 Carroll Street (at the carriage house in back), who is willfully throwing more garbage on our property.

In my previous ticket/issue written earlier today, (#18005412 and #18005515), we were previously told that Chris was the property manager for 20 Carroll Street, of which we learned today that he is not, but just a renter. Since Chris does not own nor manage the property at 20 Carroll Street, we are unsure of why he is retaliating against us with his continuing strong negative behavior. We have never had a problem with Chris, so this is surprisingly coming out of nowhere.

This ticket/issue is for documentation purpose, to be used for further legal proceedings, in regards to Chris' repeated threats to do bodily harm to my spouse and I.
