City of Hammond PLUS

All of 170th st to white oak ave and walnut ave to 170th street has multiple large potholes and dips in the road. This road is in bad shape and every time the potholes get fixed a week or two later that hole is even bigger. Very rough on your car especially on the walnut and 170th three way intersection and the walnut to 169th transition very rough and bad shape. Can more then just filling potholes be done?

Pothole patches from prior repairs broken up again. Street was never repaved like surrounding streets were in previous years.

I submitted a request for filling of potholes riddling the street in the front of my house. Crew was out this am before I awoke and filled the holes ....well sort of They can't just shovel a handful of the mix on each hole and think that is a good job They need to return, add fill to each hole, run their truck tires over it to ensure it is flattened down and repeat if things aren't level. There is also a 6' x 6' section that was filled with water from last night's rain that they didn't even address. They are going to need a whole lot of fill to fix that area.

Truthfully, the whole street should be repaved especially since this is where Hess Elementary school parents pick up their children. That is if the children return to school in the fall.

In the alley, there is a giant rectangle missing out of the ally (street). Looks like someone was digging and left the hole that was created and it takes up more then 1/2 of the of the actual street and you can't avoid it.

several issues here.
potholes keep being "patched" and if this is considered a street, it should be repaved like the rest of the surrounding streets. Also, there is an influx of vehicles flying down this "street" the wrong way. A speed bump needs to be installed at the stop sign to slow down vehicles. someone is going to get seriously injured if this is ignored

This same pothole keeps getting fixed but still come back. Time to get the street repaired completely instead of temporarily.

Potholes are popping out of the patched work on corner of a 170th and Schneider

There is a strip of raised asphalt in the alley, right before you exit onto the street. Can you level out this uneven area of the alley? Thank you
