City of Hammond PLUS

Berry bush growing onto the front sidewalk and huge branch that hangs over the middle of alley from their backyard tree. Apparently the slum lord doesn't want to do anything or hire anyone to take care of these issues when he is making income of this rental.

Sam is still working on snowblowers also buying selling. Inviting people on Facebook openly to stop over by posting his address..

So people stop over random. Sure he isn't license or collecting tax for his sales. Can he do this in a residential area? Have to hear this all the time.

was told owner moved to Fort Wayne Indiana for job.

back yard being used as parking for multiple vehicles

This is a place of business, a a daycare and the bushes are so high you can barely use a sidewalk. And I no longer can see my kids ride their bikes to the stop sign. Not only is it dangerous but it looks awful as well.

Rental property and tree in backyard/alley growing into neighbors fence causing the neighbors fence to fall down because of the tree and it is also growing into the power lines.The landlord should be responsible for maintaining these properties. So tired of out of town landlords not doing there part.

The alley behind the auto parts store is scattered with litter along the alley lines. This constantly blows down the block to the neighbouring houses.

Trash around grassy area and grass needs to be cut. The GO lo Gas station.

Blue Suburban still in 3 flats. Are we every going to get this hilly billy to clean up his act ?

The renters of this property was told that he could not burn wood in their back yard. This is a city violation. ARTICLE 4 BURNING REGULATIONS section 3261ac4-1-2 prohibits against open burning. This has been reported to Hammond Click Fix before about this renter. Just today I have seen and have taken pictures of the LARGE STACK of wood that the renter is going to burn. This stack of wood is more then 8 feet across and at least 5 feet tall. There are big logs and other wood items. Now I don't know who to call when the renter starts this fire, the fire dept. or the police dept. This size of fire could get out of control and burn down my garage or other homes around this property. The weather now is hot and everything is dry. It won't take much for a major fire to develop. PLEASE SEND out someone to get this matter stopped ASAP.
